Lots done on Liger Zero Endless Waltz Custom

Phew I spent all day on this zoid, trying to make her as pretty as possible. I added the ligers boosters to the hind legs, made custom armor for its forelegs and then detailed it with teeny tiny brushes. When all that was done I went for the stressful part, adding color to the wings. I only have one set of these and the purple color is very bold against the white, so I had to be careful. I’m pretty happy with how they turned out. I still want to detail the wings more, add some silver panel lining and whatnot. Anyway let me know what you think!

It’s such a lovely colour combo. I have a Zero Custom gundam with similar wings but I haven’t decided what zoid I want to use them on :)

New project: Liger Zero Endless Waltz Custom

Well I was supposed to work out of town yesterday, then tomorrow, but apparently we’re now leaving next week lol, so I had some free time to play with my new liger. I think I’ve about figured out how I want to attach the wings. I should have all the parts I need, but I am waiting on paint. I ordered two shades or purple, going to try and make the paint scheme similar to the last picture of this post. Im still tinkering with little ideas but it’s nice to have her standing. Oh and her sister zoid, the Liger Zero Epyon is also on the way, just waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Let me know what you think!

A look at Dark Amaterasu’s head so far. The markings are so tiny, and I don’t have a good enough brush for them, but I think this will work. The markings on the body should be a bit easier since they won’t be quite as thin. But I still need to paint parts of the head, and the red marking underneath the eyes.

Finally going to start work on my companion custom to Amaterasu, dark Amaterasu (really dark chibiterasum but whatever). This command wolf used to be Brad’s before I painted it to be Irvine’s (lol), but now I’ll use that gun as Dark Amaterasu’s main weapon, the blue crystals. I think it’s pretty fitting. I’ll paint the wing pieces blue, but beyond that I’m not sure on how I’ll paint the gun. Also not entirely sure how I’ll do the glowing marks, as you can’t really blend this paint easily. I’ll have to mix up some pink, as the stuff I had dried up.

Another WIP for Contamination, and probably the last one as she is almost done. Right now it is all about details and cleaning up rough patches. I adjusted the green, so I’m pretty happy with how it is now. I mixed in some bronze metallic flake to the green, so it has a bit of a shine to it (that sadly isn’t super visible in the picture).

The only problem I have now is what color to make the claws, blades, and teeth. I was going to leave them, but of course I get paint on the one part I don’t tape. I thought about the bronze,but I think it would just be too dark, that I need something lighter.

But other than that, she’s coming along great and should be done soon.

Contamination WIP:

Painted a bit more from last time. Focusing on the red and green. But, I’m not sure if I like how the green is looking. I’m worried it’s looking too christmasy. It’s definitely not the same as it is in this. So I need some opinions, should I change the green, and if so in what way?

Started painting Contamination!

Unfortunately it’s going to be tough since I can’t deconstruct her very much. But that aside, now is the simple part. It’s pretty much a one to one situation with the color, the whole body will be red, while the blue armor will become green. Hopefully she won’t end up looking like a christmas tree. After all that’s done comes the fun part, the cracks.
