It's Thursday, so throwback to an Anime Expo long ago with our Zoids group! We used to try and organize a little gathering each year, it was great! Meeting other Zoids fans through my cosplays was a real treat. It was so much fun being Liger Zero, I really miss it. Don't exactly miss wearing the costume itself though, it was rather uncomfortable and people always ran into me lol. The plus about cardboard armor was that it was easy to replace. Perhaps one day I'll do another Zoids related cosplay. Rei Mii and Kotona were ones I've wanted to do for a while, or maybe another Zoid to work on my armor skills. Though I am also loving the character designs for the new Zoids Wild Zero, so maybe one of them too if the anime is good? I really like the way this cosplay turned out, I'm glad I finished it and wore it to AX! However, I don't think I'll be wearing it to another convention. It's pretty and got a lot of compliments, but it wasn't super fun to wear. After just a few hours I had a nasty headache from the wig ( which weighs about 2 pounds. That a lot of extra weight on the head). There must be a way to wear it that is more comfortable, or maybe I'm just too weak to be a Miku cosplayers XD Seriously idk how others do it. It's a shame too cause I wanted to cosplay Snow Miku's 2019 design with this wig, but I'm not sure about it now. Nyoooooom! From the Uma Musume gathering! We were the only 2 Uma Musume cosplayers that day XD Seriously though thanks to him for dressing up as Trainer for like 10 minutes for the gathering, it was great lol. I saw a couple Uma cosplayers last year, but this year there were almost none and it made me a little sad. It's such a fun and good anime, yet it just slipped through the cracks into obscurity as everyone moved on and forgot about it. I loved that there were still a few that came out to the gathering to chat about the show, it was nice. Well AX day 1 certainly was... A day. Waiting 3 hours in line just to get into the convention center was ridiculous. At least it was cool out. If this happened last year I think I would have called it quits on this con. I hope they get their shit together for tomorrow cause this was unacceptable, they should have had more staff + more entrances open to begin with given how many people they knew were coming. ....anyways, other than that it was pretty fun. Wore my new Miku but after the line was very tired of it, this wig is heavy! Had a back up, but lol yeah right was I leaving the convention after that mess. Got lots of compliments on it at least. Origami Cran[E]s Realized I never posted much beyond a selfie of my 2B at Anime Expo, which is a shame since it was the cosplay of mine that got some of the best photos with my camera (and thanks so much to the friends that helped me take those photos! Especially since I love taking photos lol). I just need to post more here in general, but I'm so indecisive on what to post, and then I forget to post anything at all oops. My Lightning Saix cosplay worn at Anime Expo 2013, days 1 and 4.

I was really surprised, a lot of people not only recognized me as a Zoid, but actually remembered that I was the Lightning Saix. I didn't think many people would, as Liger Zero seems more recognizable. Only a few people called me a Gundam or a Transformer (and I think one guy said something about mega man. No idea what that was about). I just wish I had gotten to wear it more. I did get a lot of attention on day 4, but day 1 we spent waiting in line for our badges, and only a short time out in the south hall. Waiting in line was not fun. This costume was hot, and it made my feet hurt because I used old shoes.  But, day 4 made up for it. Though, walking around the exhibit hall was a bit of a pain. People seemed attracted to my costume, and kept bumping into it.

My Liger Zero cosplay worn at Anime Expo day 3. I was surprised at how much recognition I got a Liger Zero. It was a whole lot more than last year. I was also surprised at how many people wanted my photo. It was pretty awesome. There was also this one guy who had me take a picture holding the Liger Zero Blue Souga model kit he got at the con. I was so jealous! I also got to take some pictures in the gaming hall, where they had these sets for photo shoots. Those were great. I can't believe I never knew about them before. I also ran into some friends on day 3. It was nice seeing them, if only for  little while.We had so much fun day 3, that we didn't even get to go into the exhibit hall, with all the pictures and meets and all that.

My Amaterasu cosplay at Anime Expo 2013, day 2. I didn't get many photos of it this time round. Though, on day 3 we discovered this really cool place, the gaming hall, where they had a bunch of nice sets for photos. One of them would have been perfect for this cosplay. I wish I had known about it sooner. Hopefully they have the same ones next year. I was pretty excited to take photos with these fellow Amaterasu cosplayers. I saw more on day 3, but I was in a different costume then.
