Guess who finally got around to drawing some fan art for the game that has that same someone so damn excited? ME!
I’ve been wanting to draw Pyra since the E3 trailer and now! Finally! I have! Hope this isn’t the only time and thank you friends and motivation for sticking with me!

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Pyra
Took one of the Pyra sketches and threw it into photoshop to give it the good full color treatment and I am so glad that I did!
I realized pretty late that some facets of her armor are missing but I think that’s fine. It is simplified but its still her get up.
Next time I draw her because there will be a next time I’ll look into incorporating more, hopefully building up towards an eventual full body! That’d be rad!
Looking forward to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 to hang with Pyra, Rex, Nia, Dromarch, Tora and whoever else comes along for the ride!

Despite needing a few tweaks, I actually really like her original design! I think its cute, especially the scarf things. But, I think it would be more fun if it were more of a jumpsuit to match Rex, so I changed it up a bit.
Like most, I'm really not pleased with them hiring a hentai artist who kinda recycled the designs of the female characters (Pyra included) from previous works to do character design. The outfits I actually don't think are too bad, but its a real shame at least 2 of the characters are very similar from other works. That said, I like how bright and fun the anime style is, and though I'd personally change a few things I still mostly like the way the characters look.
I'm disappointed that people are already hating on the game for a few poor design choices, especially when everything else in the game looks great. So many positives but all I see are the few negatives, and the game isn’t even out. Plus, that soundtrack is amazing!
