XCX cosplay in 2024??? No way!!!
Hi everyone! I don’t usually post IRL stuff, but I’d like to share some pictures of the Lin Lee Koo cosplay I did for 2024. I finished the cosplay for a convention in May, and did the shield just in time for a con in August!!
I’m absolutely happy with how it came out! Of course, it’s very amateur work and there’s definitely a lot to improve on…but I’ll keep on honing my skills for future cosplays. It was definitely recognizable to the point people were like “You’re from XCX…LIN!!!” I’m definitely not done with making cosplays for Xenoblade or even XCX, so hopefully I’ll get to do another character later on (*'▽'*)
Shout out to my mom for helping me make the shield, as this was my first ever prop for a cosplay. It did fall off on Day 1 during con time, but my friend helped me stick it back on with some tape ^^ We were able to fix the issue back home, and make it more stronger for Day 2!
Alsoooo shout out to my friend on Day 1 who took these pics for me!!! We took a break to refuel, and the white wall in the food court looked nice for a few shots. You can def see some stuff were in rough condition, but I got those fixed when I came home as well Σ(￣。￣ﾉ)ﾉ
TL;DR: Had a blast cosplaying Lin Lee Koo!!! I hope to improve more to do better cosplays in the future!
