I can only assume this is from some amazingly realistic looking sports anime because there ain’t no goddamn way that happened in real life.

I’ve definitely reblogged this before, but I just think it’s super cute because there are like “golf manners” where you’re not supposed to make a huge ruckus but like EVERYONE felt it warranted cheering because HOLY SHIT THAT WAS A GREAT SHOT.

I am sad that this GIF does not contain more of the ensuing celebration. I have no idea how difficult this was, because I have never hit a golf ball with a golf club (though I did once hit a golf ball with a baseball bat.)

The happiness of these guys is the only way I have of knowing that what they did is a big deal, and generally people’s reactions and their emotions are more enjoyable to me than the weird cultural construct that they are reacting because of.

I think my favorite part is the way the guy nearest to the hole is tracking the last few balls with his foot, as though he can nudge them in by the power of his mind.

I would love to have seen more of the celebration, too.
