A minute of botany. Camphor tree or camphor laurel is one of the evergreen trees growing on the streets of Batumi. We love the bizarre shapes of their trunks and their fantastic growth rate. (before our eyes, small seedlings turned into small trees in a year and a half).

Tasha is a burlesque-actress. She was a model for one of our drawing classes and inspired us to try a new technique (in addition to graphite pencil). Unfortunately, we didn't see her dancing, but she posed beautifully (and it was more interesting than to draw another nude person)
