Happy October! [Video description: a cartoony, animated gif. A skull morphs into a flock of bats flapping their wings, that then morph into a ghost. The ghost morphs back into the skull and the video repeats like this forever. Simple colours on an orange background.]

Little halloween animation I'm working on
A Moon Mage and her Cat-prentice! 🐱 I wanted to paint something magical and cute. 🙂
The changing seasons.
Old movie stars were so effortlessly glamorous, don't you think?
Help, they're so cute.
Great thing about this blog being completely incoherent in terms of both style and content is that I can just go on a 2 weeks Dark Matter nonsense posting rampage and it's completely on-brand Anyway I'm going into what I guess is an annual fixation on Dark Matter so it's "tweets but make them about Gus and Jack" time
Still on the Dark Matter train, choo choo, all abord
Stills from my Dark Matter animated fantrailer 👁️
Must I try to "look good"? Is it not enough that I have a song in my heart and big frightened eyes?
Huh. Must have been the wind.
[Video description: Looping animated illustration, hand-drawn. A young man, Jonathan Harker, sits by a desk in the darkness lit only by a candle, and writes a letter. Behind him Count Dracula fades into view from the darkness, until Jonathan Harker seems to notice. He looks over his shoulder, slightly puzzled, but by then Count Dracula has faded back into the shadow. Jonathan Harker returns to his letter writing. End ID]
My all-time favourite part of making comics, taking a page from the thumbnail stage to a rough sketch. To me at least it's when the mood and atmosphere really starts to come together, before I'm in danger of overthinking the drawings themselves
Enthralled with this pumpkin spotted in my little hometown
Grandma Kamille. The Northern Isles don't grow chamomile flowers, but sometimes there are ghosts of long lost plants in the names of the islands population.
