"You wanted a distraction. He's the distraction."
Leverage Redemption S01E01 The Too Many Rembrandts Job.
"Bruh, I gotta fake a masterpiece from 1633. Not only does the painting have to look identical, the materials I use have to be identical."
Leverage Redemption S01E01 The Too Many Rembrandts Job.
"I work in the field of violence. Not knowing Eliot Spencer in our line of business, it's a bit like not knowing Rembrandt."
Leverage Redemption S01E01 The Too Many Rembrandt's Job.
Bonus:
Hey remember when Sophie’s feral gremlin children were like “hey mom :) pick out anything you want :) we want to cheer you up.” And Sophie was like “I want to kidnap this messed up lawyer.” And Sophie’s kids were like “ok!!!!!!! We love a kidnapping!!!!”
LEVERAGE: REDEMPTION (2021—)
Here's some leverage ot3 propaganda straight from the episode transcripts:
Parker: What did you do?
Eliot: Don't ask me that, Parker. (looks at her apologetically) Because if you ask me, I'm gonna tell you. So please don't ask me.
(Parker nods)
-The Big Bang Job
Eliot: It was a good thing it was us. The two of us, we do things they can't. Won't.
Parker: Does that make us bad?
Eliot: It makes us... us.
-The Long Way Down Job
Parker: You have to make it through this... Because... Because you're my friend, and I need you. Do you hear me, Alec? I need you! (Alec is Hardisons first name)
-The Grave Danger Job
(Eliot and Hardison embrace)
Eliot: Never do that again, man. Don't do that again.
Hardison: Cool. I won't.
-The Grave Danger Job
Hardison: I-I never would have made it through that without you. You know that, right, Parker?
Parker: Oh, that's not true. Anyone can learn to hold their breath.
(Hardison leans in and gives her a lingering kiss to the cheek)
Hardison: Thanks for not hanging up the phone.
-The Grave Danger Job
Eliot: Hey, listen to me. You’re smartest man I’ve ever known, Hardison.
Parker: We agreed we all change. Better or worse, we change together. -The Run Down Job
(Hardison cries out in pain. Eliot spits blood)
Hardison: Did Eliot make it?
Eliot (scrambles for his hand): Here I am. Age of the geek, brother.
(they both shake with pain and can barely speak. Parker cries and takes Eliot’s hand)
-The Long Goodbye Job
Sophie: Promise me, (looks at others) you'll keep them safe.
Eliot: Till my dying day.
Nate: You know, Eliot, I'd say call if you need anything, but you never... never need anything.
Eliot: Yeah, I did. (looks at Parker and Hardison) And thanks to you, I don't have to search anymore.
-The Long Goodbye Job
Hardison (about Eliot): You see that cowboy? Man, for the last 12 years I've seen him risk his life to save hundreds of innocent people who will never know his name, all that he still gets up, you know what he says? 'I still got more to do.'
-The Too Many Rembrandts Job

Eliot spent time in vent practice.
Hardison talking Parker through the lasers, trying to do the backbend as well and cracking his back.
The splits from that time on vacation.
And of course. The classic smiling-at-a-man-holding-a-gun-on-you-because-Eliot's-right-behind-him. This time with added Parker neck-chopping him to the ground the moment he turns around!
They told Sophie to pick anything that she wanted from the museum and she chose a whole ass man before bringing him to their found family home
Also, it's not like her choice was a cop-out on the "steal something" plan. They didn't invite this man home. They watched him unknowingly audition for the team, and then Eliot knocked him out and they absconded with the guy out a secret exit during a lockdown. The crew got their impromptu heist; Sophie got the man she picked out, and the museum didn't even lose anything! (And Harry got a found family that he seems quite happy with.)
I love all the little details that reinforce Parker, Hardison and Eliot as one family unit. Hardison knowing what Eliot says first thing in the morning. Parker and Hardison's conversation about that time in Paris (with the explosion and the granny bot) and later Eliot supporting Hardison's decision to step back, making it clear that the three of them make decisions together. Eliot understanding Hardison's Star Trek references. Hardison creating a little work out corner in the restaurant for Eliot. all three of them practicing the others' skills together. family 💖
leverage appreciation week day six — favorite motif: just one
they are MARRIED they are MARRIED they built parker a house with special vents and Eliot lives there with Parker and Hardison that is the home he is going to have to carry a drunk Hardison to
