The Panamanian Monkey Job // The Morning After Job
Leverage | The Morning After Job
Parker’s got her boys. They’re all she needs.
And luckily Eliot’s there to keep her from needlessly tasing people for fun. Or by accident. (But mostly on purpose, because Parker.) Another great “no-talk communication” moment between Eliot and Parker, too.
I love how she glances at him, sort of disappointed, that Eliot took her taser and he just shakes his head because he knows she’s looking at him with That Look ™ without even turning his head.
She knows why he took it but she’s still happy, lookit that little bounce!
GET TO KNOW ME MEME: FAVORITE FRIENDSHIPS [1/5]
Eliot Spencer x Parker x Alec Hardison | Leverage | “We agreed we all change. For better or worse, we change together.”
They’re best friends. You can tell because they bicker Like An Old Married Couple. Like a beautiful and delicate snowflake, no two friendships are alike. Unlike the beautiful and delicate snowflake, some friendships break out the flamethrowers in the face of this sickening sweetness.
These guys bicker constantly. They’re always sniping at each other. They snark relentlessly. They duke it out on equal terms, hurling insults at one another with prejudice. But underneath the verbal fencing is a rock-solid friendship that no Smug Snake could hope to chip at. Often, they have opposite morals, personalities, or fighting ability, which is presumably the cause of the vitriol (or maybe it’s just because they’re both Deadpan Snarkers).
Woe betide any outsider to this unusual ‘friendship’ who thinks that because one is constantly snarking on the other, it gives the outsider the right to make snide comments about the other as well; usually, they will quickly (and painfully) learn that “no one makes fun of him/her but me.”
How you doin’? vs. What’s up?
Flirting vs. Fighting.
Bonus:
i’m thinking about that part in the second david job when eliot is just casually working on one of parker’s rigs. is that his job. did parker just shove it into his arms before running off and he obliged with some half hearted complaining. did he grab it from her with a grumble about how it was making weird noises the last time she belayed. im just
also, in the first episode of S3, Parker mentions that she wanted to use the new right that Hardison got her (I think it was for Christmas?). which means that both boys are involved in her love of making/maintaining her own climbing rigs, which is. incredibly sweet.
#also! nate looks so proud when he shows her he has one too. she gets so delighted when sophie shows up in a rig to save her they all know parker loves jumping/hanging off buildings and they love to share that with her (even if most of them don't want to be involved in the actual jumping off buildings part)
