"she's part of the family!" is maybe THE funniest possible outcome of Parker vs Astrid. Does Parker add Astrid to the Leverage International Annual Newsletter? Does Parker list Astrid as one of the "LEOs to utilize when necessary"? Does Astrid start getting tips and artifacts dropped off in random, but very useful places? Astrid picks up the phone one day expecting a call from a colleague and it's Parker on the other end congratulating her on a promotion?

an interpol agent (astrid) and a thief's (parker) cat-and-mouse chase around the globe can actually be so homoerotic

i’m sorry, i can’t stop thinking about sophie and this piece of her past.  how young she would have been.  the complications of the situation where you definitely have her targeting an older man with the intention of conning him but also, the fact that he pursued her at all and married her and she became a stepmother?

the complication of ramsey attempting to mold her into a perfect replica of himself, being manipulated by him while simultaneously attempting to assert her own autonomy?  the expectations of motherhood being placed on her shoulders so young when sophie has really never seemed comfortable with that societal expectation at all???

the obligation she felt to astrid even after the fact but also, the fact that she needed to cut ties with ramsey for her own sake and burying that guilt so deeply she says she doesn’t think about it but it clearly comes through (like, this adds extra context to her discomfort in “The Fairy Godparents Job” with Widmark and her insistence that he not just be used as a pawn in their con; both clearly a reflection of her issues at the time and also a peek into something she’s been carrying from her past)???

Sophie told Breanna "you are Leverage" and she took that to heart. Girl was managing the tech like her big brother taught her(//she taught herself), she was the delightfully effective Sophie-Parker combo, she was Harry, and she was Eliot all in one episode. So proud of her.

i cant tell if sophie devereaux is her real name or its sophies realest name bc its what the leverage team and nate called her. either way its pretty beautiful.
