literally everyone gets to be gay but eliot. sophie gets to be gay, breanna gets to be gay, these two dudes get to be gay….

Still got it.
christian kane plays bisexual characters so well
I feel like Hardison's scarves and Eliot's gauntlet bracelet tells you right off the bat these two like men
plus how all three (specifically eliot and parker) have a complete overuse of flannel and leather jackets?
and hardison a complete overuse of hoodies?
they’re bi, your honor
“everyone in leverage is lgbt”, I say into the mic.
the crowd boos. I begin to walk off in shame, when a voice speaks and commands silence from the room.
“she’s right,” they say. I look for the owner of the voice. there in the 5th row stands: john rogers himself
eliot and quinn have slept together at least once and you can’t change my mind
Between Eliot’s blatant eyesexing and Quinn grinning like a schoolboy with a crush, it’s amzaing they managed to beat up anyone at all in that warehouse
My huckleberry boys. ❤️
Eliot has a canon handcuff kink, pass it on.
it’s legit canon established in multiple episodes and I still scream about it
I’m watching The Studio Job and Hardison calls Parker/Eliot baby and Nate was like “who exactly did you refer to as baby?” and I’m like bitch let them both be baby
hardison says baby literally ALL THE TIME and only now does nate question it?
I just rewatched the episode and I very strongly headcanon that nate is well aware of the budding ot3 and is purely messing with hardison in that scene.
there were very heavy ot3 vibes in this episode, even if eliot had a separate love insterest in this one (and there is a reason for that)
after all, this is the episode DIRECTLY AFTER the pretzels episode, when parker and hardison put their feelings on the table.
eliot sees this and what does he do? IMMEDIATELY throw himself into some type of romantic interaction with kate lynn. immediately. he wants parker and hardison to be happy and wants to send the confusing Feelings™ he has about them away so he immediately jumps into trying to establish something with someone else. after all, it should be a lot easier to get your two best friends soulmates that you kinda have feelings for out of your head when you’re kissing a pretty girl
the scene where eliot is singing and parker (and hardison) look at him in awe? heart eyes, motherfuckers. they are so proud of him and so soft about it ???
and at the end of the episode, he was given the opportunity to continue things with kate lynn, but he didn’t. he said he was too far down a different road…
now, that could just mean that he thinks he’s not a good person and is already years into a dark and bloody path. that would be a logical conclusion. especially given that this takes place in season three, when eliot’s dark past comes to rear its head. however, there might be another meaning to that road he is so far down. could that be loving parker and hardison? could it be that he is already too far gone on them and he begrudgingly knows it?
*slams hands down on table*
they love each other, your honor
Yes. I am so very on board this train. This is exactly what I’ve been thinking, explained in detail. Like, in retrospect it just seems so clear to me that Eliot’s flirtation with Kaye Lynn is in direct response to Pretzels. Not to make Hardison or Parker jealous - that’s not Eliot - but to try to keep himself from screwing it up for them. He feels like he has to keep himself from even unintentionally putting himself between them, so here he is trying to bury the feelings he’s got that would put him at risk of doing that.
And looking back a little further, I’m going to say that, within the show, Aimee represents the life he thought he’d end up with in high school, his small town dreams. Kaye Lynn in this episode represents the updated version of that life – bigger and bolder in a way that never would have fit his small town, with a history of pain that makes him who he is (seriously, so much of Eliot’s life is a country song waiting to be written), but still something that would have been recognizable to a young Eliot. At the end of the episode, she’s offering him the life of his small town daydreams.
The Two Horse Job ends with Aimee telling Eliot he can’t recapture their high school days, because that’s not who they are anymore. And that’s OK, because Eliot has clearly found his forever people, so he should just go and be happy with them. (Not her exact words, but also, almost her exact words.)
And then in The Studio Job, Eliot’s flirtation with Kaye Lynn is really Eliot thinking he can’t stay with his forever people and trying to fall back on something familiar. Only this time, he realizes for himself that Aimee was right - these are his forever people and he won’t be happy without them. Whatever else happens between them - he’ll make it work.
And the whole time Hardison and Parker are over there like, “Hey, Eliot. Eliot. You… do know that us loving each other does not preclude us from loving you too…. You know that, right? Right???? It’s not mutually exclusive…. Dammit, Eliot how big do our heart eyes have to be to get this through your thick skull?”
@eggy-tea VERY, VERY TRUE
literally in my rewatch all the ot3 interactions get ramped up SO MUCH the more it goes on
like when I finish cleaning up all my notable moments posts, I have so many notes about parker always sitting basically up against eliot, eliot always walking next to hardison, casual intimacy with him and parker, hugging between him and hardison
like I’m almost done rewatching season four now and whoooo boy, every season that passes, the ot3 gets more and more obvious
as I rewatch the series, let me just say
parker, hardison AND eliot all exude bisexual energy so much ???
and literally I’ve been trying to keep a tally of how many times they each wear flannels (a bisexual style steeple) and I’ve lost count ???
(also eliot wears flannels with leather jackets and hoodies, so the bisexual energy just increases)
(hardison is more of a hoodie bi though)
So, Eliot totally likes to brag about mention the people he’s dated, sometimes. And everyone kind of just assumes when he says ‘model’ or ‘they prefer flight attendant’ he only means women, but you can’t tell me he doesn’t brag just as hard and obnoxiously when it comes to men.
“Dated a firefighter once,” he’ll say smugly, and Hardison rolls his eyes. “He let me slide down the pole.” He leers just a little. He doesn’t mention he also got to pet the mascot dog and make out in the firetruck and it was the best second date ever.
They somehow end up in a fight at Lush and he sets off the sprinklers and smashes the badguy’s face with a bath bomb. “Not those,” he tells Parker. “The bubble bars don’t fizz unless you crumble them under running water, get the round ones.” And Parker is all ‘how do you know this is this the secret to why your hair is so nice’ and he grins and says “I dated a salesperson, he got to test products at home. Spent a lot of time in the bathtub together.” Wink wink nudge nudge punch punch.
Does anyone other than me ship Eliot/Quinn or...
I know you’re out there!
I ship past eliot/quinn and present ot3, if that makes sense
“eliot spencer is straight”
you fool
is that the hair of a straight man? i think the fuck not
nobody on earth could convince me that man isn’t bi
Listen
One thing I noticed with my rewatch of Leverage is that every time Eliot mentions one of his past romantic entanglements (Slept with a flight attendant, dated a neurologist, etc.) he never really mentions thier gender.
Bisexual Eliot was canon the whole time is basically what I’m saying
