random agatha all along thoughts

alice’s mom was consumed by finding a road that didn’t exist. alice was consumed on the road that s hould have never existed. lorna’s ballad being a protection song for alice…the song being made by agatha and nicky while they walked the road alone…together

agatha realizing lorna’s ballad was a protection song and feeling emotional and being forced to remember that despite her best efforts, she couldn’t protect nicky. death was his destiny. “sometimes boys just die”

agatha telling death that she never want to see rio’s face again… the face of her lover… the face of the one who both gave her time with her child and took away the greatest love of her life. agatha not only losing her child, but losing the greatest loves of her life

every time agatha would sing the song and steal the witches powers, she would come face to face with death— the one who took her son.. the one she was in love with. she hated.. she yearned for… too many emotions and agatha— agatha doesn’t do emotions

not only would she come face to face with death, she would be reminded of what started this all. filled with the pain of losing her son, and consciously or subconsciously wanting others to feel the pain she experienced

you have to wonder why agatha chose to take the powers and life of those who asked her about the road… of course, it makes complete sense when you think of it

when people brought up the road it would remind her of her greatest pain, her greatest loss, her greatest sorrow, her greatest love. to remind her of such would of course be a death sentence. even though no one knew… except rio who always returned to collect the bodies, as death does.

and death? not evil, not good… just is… would wait for the moments she got to see her love, her scar… even if she blamed her for the greatest crime she was born to do
