Old men yaoi II and IV but as cowboys. Both of them sat on a bench on the back porch and watching the sunset over the land as IV plays some blues (with a slide because yes slides I loves slides) and II caressing his free thigh. Them riding together and each other and going fast as the wind and herding cows and sheeps and being hella respected by the folks in town and when there is a shooting competition they like to watch it but they rarely participate because they never miss and they want to give the younglings a chance to win. However, when one gets on their high horse, II stands up and shoots the hat off their head and that usually makes the whole place silent before people cheer and IV grins because he's like "yeah that's my man" and they groom each other's beards and cut each other's hair and are married and in love. OKAY SO I WAS MEANT TO MAKE ART FOR THIS BUT MY ASS HAS BEEN TO DEPRESSED TO DO ANYTHING (dont look at the clean laundry on the floor)
but yes, yes please, omg. my beloved old men being old and in love and kissing(and more) in haylofts under the moon light. them washing their horses together while exchanging gazes and smiles and sometimes a kiss here and there when they feel up to it.
the hair cuts in silence, just the sound of scissors and the air thick with domestic bliss and love. IV always having to have II help steady his hands when hes trimming II’s mustache (he wants to make sure it looks pristine).
oh and don’t get me started on how oh so careful II is when using a straight razor of IV’s neck. always getting so lost in perfection and wanting to make sure he’s careful that he doesn’t realize IV’s got his hand on his thighs to steady him.
IV and II exchanging rings at one point after getting black smiths to make something special for either of them.
the way the town knows them as two people that cant be separated. because they are unaware of the loving gaze the two exchange while hanging out at the saloon or in the garden they have together.
oh and uh… IV in chaps, thats a nice thought.

i went to an antique shop and got gifted some lace. so now i have stuff for my vessel cosplay!!!
i just need to buy the base stuff and get the mask made and then we will be ready for the rein fair in september :3

a small detail but a detail nonetheless
i spent a good 4 hours yesterday on stitching the red stars and then today i decided i hated having it all red and decided to unpick some of the stars and put in gold stars instead so that took an hour or two.
i haven’t even done the other sleeve yet lmao.

UPDATE 3!!!
my hands hurt.
i have to finish up that little lining/binding in the cuff before i can add the sleep token sigil’s on the sleeves, gather up the sleeves, and start working on antlers.
i have to talk to my sibling and see if she will inform her print guy that i need the mask by the last week of august.
its all starting to come together and its spooky.
UPDATE 4!!!!!!!
i was able to finish the binding and ruffle the sleeves so they stayed at a 3/4’s length(i believe thats what its called)
next is putting the sigils on the back of the sleeves(you will see what i mean when im done)
and add the fur and possibly an extra lace bit to the back??? but i dont know yet.
after all of this i hope fully will have the mask by some time in august, fingers crossed!

final cloak update!!
so i stayed up to finish the fur on the back, i also ended up not putting the sigils on the sleeves because i really wanted to be done with this.
the fur is basically a pillow and i need to add two more snaps to make it flush with the cloak.
now im going to try and sleep because it is 6am where i am.
next up is the mask, and a possible costest with my crow mask just to get a feeling for the costume and see if there is anything i want to do and dont want to do.
IM THINKING VERY VERY HARD
so my III going through a 2 month long boy mode, and growing out their beard a bit and all that. to the point that Vessel and II scratch at their jaw like their a cat.
after a little while they decided to shave off the beard and leave the mustache, walking out the bathroom that day with their hair up and a smile.
IV couldn’t help but kiss their freshly shaven skin because its is one of his favorite sensation.
