I don't understand Method Acting. There is some fancy academic theory behind it, I'm sure. But fundamentally, as an actor, isn't starting and stopping the act a central skill? You're repeating a scene over and over anyway, you're constantly getting feedback from the other side of the fourth wall, you're shooting out of order. Presumably the character changes over the course of the story. So how can you stay as the character on set, if the character isn't some fancy, continuity breaking meta-concept shenanigans? What's the point?

In a world where being a robot is illegal. And people are racist towards robots. The robots are trying to have a heavyhanded civil rights movement. There's robot super crack that gives robots super powers. All robot racism comes from Senator Racism, who is running for president.

Our protagonists, model minority robot, and nice cop, must work together to ensure that Senator Racism is not elected. And guess what? They are lesbians.

Model Minority Robot is childhood best friends with Terrorist Robot, who is sympathetic but goes too far and is a villain now.

Nice Cop looks up to Older Cop, who is eventually revealed to be Very Racist, or corrupt. There is a scene where Nice Cop says racism is bad and walks away from something dramatically. Nothing fundamentally changes.

Still better than Detroit Become Human.

Your frustrarion is valid, but it's not an excuse. Illiterate people are victims of the same uncaring system that oppresses all of us, and wanting to exclude them from democraric participation is cruel. Fascists are not facists because they lack education, but because they are assholes. It's not ignorance, it's a choice.

Be the change you want to see in the world.

But like, not in the sense to be the next big philosopher or the next big political leader.

Be the type of person you want to meet in your favorite fan community. Make that fanart and write those fanfics you want to see. and if it's not good, then so be it. It can still make another person's day.

Honestly, as far as season 1 is concerned, the class war stuff doesn't even really track. Piltover and Zaun are not two communities in the same city, but two cities right next to each other that barely interact. Which leads to the important question: Who does all the labour in Piltover? Someone has to produce all the shiny gold trim. It's not the people of Zaun, so there is presumably a whole population of workers that we never get to see.
