Ok, this is the idea: A Warhammer inspired historical gown.
The iconic cloak of the Adeptus Mechanicus, red with white cog-trim.
But as a Mantua
The Mantua is kinda the early version of the iconic Marie-Antionette gown. It's draped over stays and underskirts and open in the front. The foremost edges of the skirt portion are pinned back, so the underside of the fabric is visible. The dress is mostly kept in shape by the belt, other than later dresses, were pleats are stitched down.
The edges of the fabric are a prominent feature. That's why I think it would work with the AdMech design.
Also I love the 18th century european fashion. This is finally the project that I can make the stays, undershirt, padding and underskirts for that I can use for other gowns too.
I'm exited for this.
