⭒𓏲ּ ֶָ֢. ┇ Pagan for 10+ years, I now mainly worship the Hellenic pantheon. Studying Heathenry, the Quran, and religion in general. Nolonger a witch, but I do practice divination.

⋆ .ೃ ┇ I’m a soft polytheist / omnitheist + pluriform monotheism mix. Basically I believe in a higher power beyond human comprehension that manifests in different forms for different people and goes by infinite names.

I’ve always had some kind of odd things happen but yesterday I went to take a shower while home alone and when I got out I found that my bedroom door was closed and the lights in there off. Besides the fact that I remember leaving the door open and a lamp on, that door can’t latch closed on its own - the wood is aged and warped, so it requires me to lowkey body slam it in order to close fully. It’s not like a pressure difference could close it or gravity or something. I can barely get it to latch. So freaky.

#we moved here in like March/April so like#I’ve not been here a super long time#but I know damn well that door takes force to latch completely#also we don’t have like. idk an attic or crawl space for someone to be living in here secretly#the closest thing we have is a basement with hardly anything in it#so like not someplace somebody could be hiding

  • order your favourite food
  • learn to make it, having ingredients for your favourite meal always there, and also knowing how to make it is a really nice feeling
  • buy ingredients & set up time to bake your favourite thing
  • if you see a cozy coffee shop - you should buy this coffee, its okay to get yourself something nice
  • or even better, try to learn how to make your favourite drink - your don't have an express, look up what to use instead etc
  • if there's a hobby that looks cool for you - you should ty it, get a small hobby kit or look around for alternatives in things you already own and start
  • work on making a cleaning routine, see what time fits you best, which tasks are for everyday which are weekly etc.
  • playing your favourite game is a self care task

Shoutout to Apollon for his help during my top surgery and recovery. When I went into the OR they were playing a song that I associate with Him (and I hadn’t requested) which instantly comforted my anxiety. Afterwards Ive healed so quickly that my surgeon said she’d never had a patient heal as fast and well as me. Im only in week 5 of recovery and I’ve had all restrictions lifted. Apollon has been with me <3

FIVE YEARS WITH THE GODS: what I've learned

  • Don't fixate on the notion of being "called" by a particular deity or "claimed" by them. It'll only lead to confusion, misinterpretation, or disappointment. Instead, pay attention to your gut. What feels right? What names, symbols, or spheres of influence resonate with you or intrigue you?
  • Sometimes, we are presented with or drawn to gods we may not expect. In this case, we often need to look past the superficial aspects of a deity to understand why we feel drawn to them.
  • You will develop an insatiable appetite for knowledge, but let yourself digest information and experiences before proceeding to something new. Set aside time to reflect on your learning. Journaling is the perfect complement to research.
  • Make sense of your own perceptions and ideas before digging too deeply into the perceptions of others.
  • Our paths will inevitably wander into unfamiliar fields. Enjoy the journey. Make room for new modes of belief.
  • You will feel like a beginner for a long time. This is a good sign; it means you're growing something profound...and staying humble.
  • You are almost always overthinking things.
  • Feeling stressed out over your spirituality is not a good sign. Adjust accordingly and convey your thoughts to the gods as you go.
  • It's okay to release a deity from your practice. This does not make you a failure or a terrible person. Relationships change, and so do you.
  • You will need breaks from your practice. Spirituality is not a side hustle; let go of your guilt and rest.
  • Doubt and skepticism will be steadfast companions on your journey. Question everything.
  • In the end, your path belongs to you alone. No one else has power over what you practice.

If Hellenic Polytheism was as widespread and accepted as Christianity we'd definitely have animated kid shows of the Theoi all cutesy looking teaching children moral lessons and such. We were robbed.
