Future State: The Next Batman issue #2

Sigh. Okay, so I can understand how this happened. This is probably a tiny cameo and thus could be a detail overlooked by an editor. That could also account for how his appearance isn’t even consistent with his prominent appearance in the previous issue two weeks ago.

But that just raises further questions! Is his appearance here (right down to the fact that he has hair on the scarred side) is inconsistent with his work with Astrid Arkham in the all-rogue resistance against the occupying private army in Gotham (and presumably also his upcoming appearance in Nightwing’s issues)? Is this supposed to be happening at the same time? Is it a flashback?

I expect these kinds of inconsistencies from DC anyway, but it seems especially jarring in an AU Future event that was presumably meant to be tightly planned and edited for its limited two-month span.

I believe this was another multiverse.

Harley is not free like the current future state Harley quinn.

So this is indeed before the Arkham Knights existed.

Wait you are right then..

Because that means Arkham is not a thing anymore. So the Arkham Knights got erased already. And they all got stuck together here with other heroes.
