He senses an instant feel of goosebumps form on his neck and then the front door rings. He’s confused to see that there are only three kids around him and the fourth one is making his way outside. Eddie checks his watch and finds it’s only 7 pm.
Way too early for Joyce to be done with her last-minute night shift. He was taking them all home anyway so it’s concerning when through the glass Will is standing in the middle of the parking lot and just..standing there. Looking at nothing but the smokey black sky.
Eddie walks out and runs to get in front of the boy crouching down to his level. His brown eyes are wide and Eddie has only witnessed his episodes so far in the past few months. Mike comes yelling and the rest of the Party comes outside, Robin is at the door keeping the door open while Keith complains and leaves his view.
Eddie holds his hands and squeezes them. Some type of grounding exercise that Jonathan taught him once.
“Hey bud, um hey what’s going on?” Eddie says in a careful voice, small and gentle.
Will blinks just a few seconds after and he looks around at Eddie with wide bright eyes, he breathes heavily.
Eddie tries to comfort him but Will shifts to the side, eyes trailing at the sounds around him. People in the parking lot are ready to come on or come out. Car engines running. People catching popcorn or gummy bears in their mouths.
"Hey." Eddie tries to count out numbers, "1, breath in..., breath out...," He continues and Will repeats. Squeezing Eddies hand to ground himself.
A couple breathes after their interrupted by multiple voices calling Will's attention.
“I’m fine,” Will assures him by letting go of Eddie's hands and nods but it looks like he’s putting up more of an effort to keep himself in check.
Eddie sighs and Mike comes closer to wrap his arm around his shoulders.
“He said he’s fine. Right your okay?” Mike says while Dustin and Lucas share a look. They are not completely convinced.
“Um, you're next on Dig Dug, we still have 2 hours before we have to leave.” They make their way back inside and Dustin stays near the entrance, Robin's cheeks are already red, the freezing wind and nervousness riling up. Filling up her half-empty belly.
“Was it another episode?” Dustin asks and Robin makes an uneasy face looking for help with Eddie who takes a deep breath.
“He’s gonna be fine,” Eddie says patting his head Dustin doesn’t chortle but he tries his best to smile.

All fairness to Steve, he's never been here before. So yeah, he didn't know it turned into a sex shop at the back. Sue him. He came in to look at the t-shirts.
But now he is here. In the back of the store. And it's...something.
"Well shit," Steve mutters, and doubles back for a handbasket.
The giant lube bottle is an obvious first choice. Jesus, they go through a lot of the stuff. Steve's own fault, 'cause he's the one always pouring it but really, he has no intention of using less so he plops the biggest bottle they have in his basket. Snags a waterproof version, too, 'cause why not?
"Need help with anything?" calls the girl working the register in the store's center. She's got spiky green hair and she's squinting at him like he's a weird bug that flew in.
"I'm good, thanks." Steve says. They have ribbed condoms here. Steve's hand hovers over the box even though neither of them can get pregnant. He's curious, but ultimately decides against them because it feels better without one anyways, ribbed or not.
"You sure?" the cashier asks, snapping her gum. She's raising her eyebrows at him and his two giant bottles of lube. "You're finding everything okay?"
"Great, actually," Steve clutches his basket closer to himself, striding purposefully over to another wall, but what he sees on there makes him stop short.
Handcuffs. Rows and rows of handcuffs.
He swallows. Shoots a nervous glance down at his belt that's been used as cuffs a couple times already, and decides, yeah, fuck it. Eddie ought to have some proper handcuffs. They've still got... Jesus, twenty-five or so videos left.

A third of this song is about the need to isolate but still longing to be seen, to be held. For someone to say it's all gonna be okay. Fears are taking over but stopping it from conquering.
The next third of the song is about dying in one's sleep and Maya finding a way to cope with that recommended by a doctor since it's a possibility to come at a certain age and with health complications but she's gonna have to accept that it could happen to her one day.
The last part is almost like talking someone who is going through a crisis a meltdown.

But it's all around a song about facing the dark the unknown after being so hurt, but you're not facing it alone. Someone and the world is there with you. Maya is there with you cause she feels it to.
So yeah this is my favorite song from the album. it'ss so pretty vocally and instrumentally. I struggle with depression and this i like a kiss on the forehead.
