I started storyboarding with no bigger story in mind. However, some plot points popped up here and there when I animated the scenes. For example: I like to think of Kamek as the evil master-mind, who gives a potion to Bowser, that causes him to become a giant:

In this other scene, Yoshi notices that Luigi is missing and tries to alert two Toads about it (who obviously can't understand him or his body language haha). Luigi manages to free himself from the piranha plants by himself, though!

Thanks a lot for the interest! :D These animations took very long to complete and I still want to finish the whole video I had in mind. To me, the Mario world is super nostalgic and sweet, and that's why I love spending time in it c:

Our princess is back~

I noticed I haven’t drawn any fanart in a while. For some reason, I’ve been a Mario enthusiast lately. I think it’s because of the colorful innocent worlds and characters ^.^ So there, have some Mario fanart, with a little twist on their original designs :)

I felt uneasy when I read the news today. Is filtering really the right way? I doubt it. No one knows exactly what consequences this brings, and I’m not having a good feeling about it, sadly :/
