Being multi fandom can be tough because someone can say some random stuff like "Jungkook is the best maknae dancer!! don't @ me oppas 👅" And you gotta sit there witcho whole tongue balled up trying not to scream "uM have you heard of our Lord and Savior Lee Taemin?? Pope Yugyeom?? High priest Dino?? Choir director Zelo?? Altar boy Ji to the mufuh Sung??" Sighh but you don't say it cause your biases don't stand for the drama so you choke on your own words.

46. “Why are you crying?”
You wanted to turn around and go home.
“Application Denied”
You had reread those two words about a hundred times since opening your rejection letter but their sting was still potent. In your hands you held the papers that only 5 minutes ago had held the secrets to all your hopes and dreams.
Now those dreams were dashed and it took everything inside you not to crumple onto the floor.
Suddenly the door burst open and Zelo with usual confident walk strolled in your apartment, grabbed you by your shoulders and pulled you in for a hug.
“You’ll never believe what happened today at practice babe I was talking to Himchan an-” Zelo words trailed off as he noticed the slight leave in your frame as your buried your face in his chest.
“Babe?” Zelo’s voice was now laced with worry, and that only made your tears harder to control.
Zelo gently cupped your chin in his hand and pulled your tear stained face up to meet his gaze.
“Why are you crying?” He asked you softly, in the most gentle tone you had ever heard him use.
You held up your hand with the crumpled letter and his eyes flicked over to it quickly then back to you.
“I didn’t get in. I’m not good enough after all.” You said, your voice cracking slightly “I guess I shouldn’t have thought that I had enough talen-”
“No” Zelo interrupted. “Don’t let that paper define you. I know that you’re smart, you’re talented and that you have a gift that the whole world needs to see.” He pulled you in again, the warmth from his body reassuring you.
“That paper doesn’t know who you are. You’re amazing in so many ways…” His words trailed off again as his eyes searched yours, desperate to take away your pain.
“Baby, no matter what I still believe in you. This is not the end of the road, okay? We can make it through this.”
He let go of your chin and pulled you back into his embrace with both arms.
You were sad sad. You were disappointed. But you were grateful.
Grateful that even if though life was being nothing but a suckfest, you had Zelo and that he loved you even when it was hard for you to love yourself.
You let one arm drop from around his back and grabbed his left hand, intertwining your fingers.
He squeezed softly.
You both stood there in silence, finding solace in each other.
Things would get better.
This was not the end.
