This was a good day to walk home. Yesterday it had rained, and the day before had been the hottest day of the year. Today was nice. Relaxing. You sneaked a peek out of the corner of your left eye. On that side of you Donghyuck was walking as well, his feet were in sync with you, the slaps of your sneakers on the pavement matching perfectly.

He had a slight smile and far away look in his eye. Right when you were going to ask him what’s on his mind he let out a little sigh. Your front door was in sight and you stopped and looked at curiosity all over your face.

“What is it?”

He just shook his head and kicked his feet along the sidewalk. He didn’t seem to mind if his shoes scuffed a little.

“It seems like the walk went a little faster than normal that’s all.” You smiled at his confession. Part of you figured he enjoyed these times just as much as you did, but this was the first time he had been so obvious about it.

“It’s fine Y/N, you go ahead. I’ll see you soon!”

“Will you?” You teased back.

“Always…”
