It is defined as someone who usually feels no attraction, but occasionally has rare, sudden, and intense spikes of attraction for a short amount of time, before returning, just as suddenly, to one’s normal amounts of asexuality.

This is the aro spike pride flag. Arospike is an orientation on the aromantic spectrum defined as someone who usually feels no romantic attraction, but occasionally has rare, sudden, and intense spikes of romantic attraction for a short amount of time, before returning, just as suddenly, to one's normal amounts of aromanticism. Heartless Aromantic: A heartless aromantic is an aro that feels separated from romance and any or all forms of love. Heartless aros may feel separated from romance and love because they feel disconnected from these ideals, because they feel rejected by these ideals, or because they have discomfort surrounding these ideals.

A heartless aro may also choose to identify this way in order to reclaim the narrative that being aromantic makes you heartless.

The Loveless Aro Pride Flag

“Loveless aro: an individual on the aromantic spectrum who, in some way, feels disconnected from the concept of love. they may be described by the following:

Love Integral Aromantic - An aro identity in which love, however one defines it, is placed at the center of one’s identity and considered to be integral to how one moves through the world.

  Aplatonic is an identity for people who experience little to no platonic attraction such that they rarely experience squishes, or desire to form a friendship with specific people.
