I'm prepping to update the therapy fic soon and amid plotting I had a few thoughts on Briza.

Originally I didn't want to include Briza bc she is very much at a point where turning around would be extremely difficult. Not impossible, I don't think any of the Do'Urdens are fully irredeemable but there's definitely a point here where I think Briza's siblings would need to cut contact with her, at least for the long-term.

Briza needs to work through some shit but honestly it's better for her siblings if she works through it away from them.

After dealing with so much crap in the Dragon’s Eye, at least the Do’Urden siblings might feel slightly more prepared to head to the Severed Hand.

Tbh I do feel a little bad that I never manage to have the charity for Briza that I have for Drizzt's other siblings.

But I genuinely just cannot, short of a reincarnation, find a single way to redeem a consistently physically abusive bully who never once questions herself.

Chapter 2′s start sheets really do way too much to hint at what the party is going to be dealing with going into the Dragon’s Eye caves, don’t they?

I finally put together proper start sheets for the Do’Urden siblings in my IWD liveblog.  My plan right now is to update these for each chapter and show you how the characters have grown/changed through the adventure, as well as how their gear changes.  You can open each sheet in a new tab to look at details.  I left off the spell sheets but I can give you their spell lists in a more condensed form if that sounds like something you’d want to look at.

So the funny thing is, Briza and Drizzt have fairly high Constitutions compared to the rest of the party, so they get Fatigued a lot slower than everyone else.

So in practice they’re walking ahead just fine while their siblings are like “Can we please take a break?”
