Hello everyone! My name is Raghad and I am from Gaza. I am currently in my third year of university at the Faculty of Dentistry in Egypt. Before the genocide, I relied on paying my tuition fee ($3000) from my father. Now, our home in the Gaza Strip in the Khan Younis area has been destroyed. Throughout the genocide, my dear father lost his job, which was our source of livelihood, and all of our financial resources became inaccessible.

Currently, my mother’s family (my mother’s brothers and sisters and their children) and my father’s family (my father’s brothers and sisters and their children) are all in the Gaza Strip in an area called Al-Mawasi. All of them live in tents and are struggling everyday to survive.

Living in Egypt has increasingly been difficult for me and my family. 5 months ago, my family (my mother @ranasadeq , father, three sisters and one brother) evacuated from Gaza and are struggling to pay our rent and daily expenses. My brother,@mahmoud-sd who is still studying high school online, needs $100 per month for his tuition. My three sisters, who are also in school, each require $100 per month for their tuition.

Due to the harsh living conditions and the extremely high cost of living in Egypt, we must pay $150 per month for rent. Sadly, the war has turned the college, once a beacon of hope and education, into a shelter for displaced families, stripping it of its educational purpose.

I completed high school with a 93% average, filled with excitement about continuing my education and securing a job to support my family. But like so many others, the war has shattered those dreams.

My younger brother, Ahmad, is 14 years old and currently in the third grade of preparatory school. We’ve always called him "Doctor of the Future" because of his intelligence and natural talent in mathematics. Our Life in Displacement: The war forced our family to flee to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for several months. I am Mahmoud Al-Safadi, a 54-year-old man, married to Nada, who is 40, and together we have three children: Lina (24), Alaa (21), and Shahd (19). Like any family, our dreams were simple — to live safely together under one roof. But fate has been cruel to us.

The recent war in Gaza has completely destroyed our home, forcing us to move from place to place, searching for safety amidst the terrifying sounds of bombings and explosions. Jihad is a brave man facing unimaginable challenges at just 42 years old. He lives with multiple chronic illnesses, including High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, and Celiac Disease. Due to health complications, he has lost his eyesight, his kidneys have failed, requiring him to undergo dialysis three times a week, and due to osteoporosis, his legs were broken which left him unable to move.

Sadly, the war has only deepened our suffering. Our house was destroyed, forcing us to seek refuge in Southern Gaza. We now live in a tent, struggling to find stability and safety. Being the most vulnerable member of our family, Jihad's health has worsened under these inhumane conditions, as he needs special treatment and nutrition which are not available.

Without a source of income, Jihad can neither afford the costs of transportation for essential dialysis treatments nor provide for his family's basic needs. Hence, he relies on the generosity of compassionate people to help provide for his family.

Jihad urgently needs to travel abroad for critical medical treatment and to ensure the safety and survival of his family. Every moment that passes deepens his suffering and heightens the risks faced by his family. Unfortunately, due to ongoing war and border closure, people are forced to pay exorbitant fees to escape Gaza, with costs reaching as high as $10,000 per person.

Sami's story begins in Gaza, where he was born and raised in a humble home. He lived a quiet life with his wife and their three children: Jud, Lin, and Misk,🍉 along with his ailing mother,and father who suffers from chronic thyroid🙏 and parathyroid disease, and his four siblings: Hamza, Bilal, Muhammad, and Layan. Sami worked hard in his modest shop, selling car spare parts to provide his family with a decent, stable life.😔
