In need of Financial Help - Family Medical Emergency
Hey. I hate to have to do this but things in my house are not going well.
My dad just had a heart attack while working out of state and is in the ER. My step-mom has been threatened to be fired due to calling off a week due to Covid, had to call off today so I could use the car to see my dad, so she might lose her job very soon. I've been struggling with Bipolar Depression and am still unemployed and job searching. Been having problems with house finances before this.
We could really use the help as we have little money already and no safety net. Even small donations will help as it'd cover low cost necessities (gas, food) and add up.
I have Venmo too but it's my full legal name. IM me if you can only use Venmo and want to help.
The heart cath results showed my dad's heart is... not good at all. He will be having open heart surgery in a few days.
Paid off some bills but in need of about $80 for another one.

Re your tags--- I love the idea of that. It would make a lot of sense too, and honestly, would be fitting into the original implied canon for Anderson as supernaturally enhanced and obscure.
TLDR; read somewhere that Anderson in Japanese was never hinted as meant to have any accent, which is why fan translations don't give him any accent. The Scottish accent was a choice by Gonzo dub for w/e reason, which Dark Horse took as influence for the official English translation, and then OVA also did it too. The only notable aspect to how Anderson spoke was he was sometimes a bit archaic in wording, which adds more weight to that it was said his "age and origin" are unknown.
After I learned this, I got curious and looked up a fan translation of the manga to see how it compared to the official ones... and the selected translation by the creator makes this more interesting.
SUPERNATURAL regenerative ability. Beyond any biotechnology! INCANTATION?! Like... magic? This is very against what is implied and said in the official translations.
So TLDR; Anderson was possibly meant to be more of an outright supernaturally augmented being and his abilities based in magic/arcana.
So it'd make perfect sense for him to have markings and scars from the process of making a Regenerator. Possibly ones quite similar to Alucard at basic structure (like alchemical importance in the sigils). Which... I really like because it amplifies them being mirrors to each other in that they were beings experimented on and physically marked, and achieved supernatural qualities unique to themselves... all to be used as living weapons for a collective above them.

Hi there! So I really love your headcanon about Alucard having alchemical markings all over his body rather than just on his hands. I know that we here on tumblr dot com like to joke when something is particularly good that now “our crops are watered” and “our skin is moisturized”, but I am not exaggerating when I say that this headcanon single-handedly filled in the biggest plot hole in my current WIP fanfic. Before I let myself get too excited about it though, I wanted to check if you’re okay with other people using your headcanons in their fanfics? I’m happy to give credit to you for the inspiration whenever (hopefully eventually) I post it. Either way, thank you for sharing more of your beautiful art, I was very excited to see your most recent art post! <3
omg that's so funny. Well, I kinda feel like I'm not the only one who's thought up this sort of thing, so yeah that's fine by me if you want to use it.
I personally imagine that Alucard will usually make his body look like it doesn't have any of these markings on it and/or just wear stuff that covers everything (I couldn't help but notice we never see skin past his head, neck, and wrists throughout the whole series aside from when he was human, which is what sparked this headcanon in the first place).
What I envisioned was something like this:
(I did absolutely 0 research into what I drew on him and I am likely going to draw smth completely different if I do this again so nobody look too far into it please I'm begging you lol)
I'm just using this ask as an excuse to ramble now LMAO. I'm going to be using the extended headcanon in my own fic, but in terms of just imagining he has a ton of markings on him due to the experiments, that seems fair game to me.
