Donald Duck, convincing his nephews that Scrooge is family and that they need to be there for him, even though he made a mistake. 

Donald, I’m so proud of you. Like this was the duck that wanted absolutely nothing to do with Scrooge for ten years for what happened to Della, this was the man that once said that all Scrooge cared about was the next adventure. 

But now merely six months and three days later, he has completely changed his tune. Donald truly loves his uncle and doesn’t want the boys to hate him, like he spent the last ten years doing.

“Donald Duck is the most daring adventurer of all time!” 

I love that Donald is kicking all the shadowling buttocks. Like this is the adventurer that Webby was talking about, this is the duck that Scrooge said “Just like old times, eh lad?” and that he misses. 

This is the duck, that both Della and Scrooge know so well, that they respect and admirer. This is the duck that went on countless adventures with his twin sister and Uncle. This is the duck that raised the boys when his sister disappeared, this is the duck that had no help from no one, the one that did his best in everything he did. 

 This is Donald Duck.

…Sometimes you just wanna draw hugs. Sad hugs, warm hugs, “man where have you been all this time it’s good to see you” hugs… you name it :o) (Still using Sarah Jolley’s Gladstone design, btw. I love it a lot. Don’t tag her, please.)

To adventure! :D (alternately, it’s been way too long since I drew ducks, and I never tried to draw Fethry before. Also, I used @modmad‘s Gladstone hair because it looks awesome and I wish that’s what we had in the show!)
