Favourite Moments of Haylijah With Hope - 1x22, 2x10 and 3x09
I’ve decided to shortlist by choosing one moment per season.
I love that in the first gif it was Elijah who pricked Hope’s finger so that Hayley could feed. I think it showed how much faith Hayley has in Elijah and that she needed him there through the difficult process. I know that Klaus is Hope’s father and personally love the hybrid family dynamic but I just loved this little Haylijah-Hope scene as it reassured the audience that Elijah is a huge part of Hayley’s life and will be of Hope’s also.
The second scene is one of my favourites in general. It was so short and part of a montage of sort with narration but the emotion and tension between the characters is so prominent. There is so much love in the little scene and I really sensed the powerful emotions despite it’s shortness. It also is very peace connoting and with all that Haylijah have been through I think this is very important.
Lastly, I appreciated the third as it shows loyalty and understanding. Hayley was with Jackson for Hope’s first Christmas but still grasps how important it is for her daughter to see her father’s side of the family. Equally, Haylijah continue to make things work despite being separated and Hope is one of the few almost excuses for them to be close.
