Transcripts aren't always readily available for Supernatural cons and interviews, especially for the older ones.

So I've been slowly but surely, off and on, making J2 SPN transcripts and I wanted to share the ones I've finished transcribing and the sources I've found with those who might be interested.

•If anyone notices a mistake in my transcripts feel free to point it out.

•If anyone can better make out the audio in videos please share your take on it.

•If you know where to find more spn convention and interview footage available online, please share where they can be found.

•If you have old spn convention and interview video files that have been since lost from the internet, please think about re-uploading them to a free video sharing website.

•If anyone has old spn con videos uploaded to YouTube before 2017 that were previously set to unlisted until YouTube's update in 2021 force-changed them to private, please think about making them public or unlisted again.

“When I showed [Stephen Sondheim] the finished film, he said, ‘You treated me gently and royally, for which I’m grateful,’” says [Lin-Manuel Miranda]. “And then he wrote me and said, ‘But the last phone message to Jon, the language feels a little trite. I don’t feel like I would ever really say that. Can I rewrite it?’ I was like, 'Gosh, a rewrite from Stephen Sondheim — do I accept this?’”
There was only one problem — [Bradley Whitford] had already wrapped his work on the project and was unavailable to re-record it. Sondheim offered to record the new version for Miranda, and it’s his voice that audiences can hear in the final cut.
“It makes me weep to even think about,” gushes Miranda. “Because he was such a mentor to Jon and generations of songwriters. But yes, he rewrote that message and recorded it himself and just sent it to me.“ (x)

Two years ago, I had a Deaf girl show up in my drivethru on Halloween. Her mom was kind of sad when I tried to offer the girl candy, and you could tell it’d been a rough night. I asked her to get the girl’s attention, and then signed to her the way I learned from those top gifs. She started laughing and clapping her hands at once, and when I held out the bowl of candy she was DELIGHTED. I think there’s a very serious possibility I was the only person all night who was able to share with her that way.

It matters. Learn.

IT MATTERS. ASL is the THIRD most used language in the US yet most schools don’t offer it as a language course.

I tried to learn how to sign Trick or Treat so I could teach it to my severe non verbal ASD Daughter, but no one knew how to sign it. If anyone can post it, that would be awesome

I like ASLMeredith because she’s thorough and amazing! I wasn’t sure @grlnxtdr30 if it’s ASL you’re searching for or another country’s though. If so, there’s several words here. Also search her on YouTube, she had so many intro to ASL videos. She takes her time and I think your daughter will enjoy them.
