Looking at this now, Maul reaaaally shouldn't have his lightsaber. Guess he had to break it out to impress Kilindi. She doesn't care about it though, so it's not actually worth whatever Palps has in store for him when he finds out it's missing. Palps is gonna kill* him for blowing his cover (((;ꏿ_ꏿ;)))
