Where do they go on their first date? - I have about a million different headcanons for this but my favorite is that they go on their first official date in cloud city after the war. walking around hand in hand, lando shows luke his favorite places, they have a nice meal in a nice restaurant, they get back to lando’s palace and *wink wink nudge nudge*
20. Where do they go on holiday? - naboo, 100%. I’ve been picturing what their naboo holiday would be like for so long that while they’d definitely go to other places as well this is their number 1 holiday destination

You know what IS the fluffiest of ships though? LukeLando.
It starts off with Lando saving Luke from dangling off the Bespin weather vane. Lots of comforting touches and nods of camaraderie. And both the Disney and Legends universe gives us adorable moments like Lando introducing Luke to hot chocolate, and the two of them questing together to find Sith compass thing (likely in order to find Lando’s daughter).
It’s really just a great ship.

Donalds only like ...six years older. I think they looked abt the same age, like i only saw the movie once when it came out but bare faced alden looks a little younger for me bc donald grew out his beard for the part. I think donald!lando looks more put together than alden!han. Weirdly i think tht billy!lando looks younger than harrison!han.
Also unrelated but lord i love that .... Goatee-soulpatch-moustache-sideburns combo of facial hair. Its very scifi but still stylish. Hunger games chic.

Oh boy yeah that too. Yeah no big same like just bc u dont think billy dee can pass as ten years younger Now in the same way he did in the 40s is not a good reason to switch shit up. Its mb a petty thing to be annoyed by but u bringing up the leia thing rlly seals the deal on this decision being a bad one.

Oof yeah thts uhhh i dont like that i guess its to make him closer to billy dees actual age but jeez this makes the age when luke met lando crossing a line tht it was already straddling. N like my personal headcanon is them not getting together until lukes like .... 29/30. The thing holding me back from h@nluke is the age stuff (the fact tht they literally met when he was 19 n hes called kid by this grown adult A lot😬😬😬)

Speaking of things TROS made me want to learn more about, I don’t really know what to do with the idea that Luke and Lando spent an undetermined amount of time searching for Jedi artifacts together.
When was this? How was this? Was there kissing involved? Please say yes!
It does occur to me that if we take the visual dictionary as canon, and general practice is that it is until a movie contradicts it (see: Lars, Owen and his relations), then it’s possible that they were traveling together specifically to find Lando’s missing daughter. That would provide a very good additional reason to be seeking out devices that would track the Sith.
Another option, even more angsty, is that they targeted Lando’s daughter BECAUSE he was helping Luke.
Either way, I would really like to know more about this. The Trilogy is done, so Disney can FINALLY tell us more about what Luke was up to during the post ROTJ time period. Maybe some books? A cartoon series? Live action? Is Donald Glover available to resume his role?

I didnt n tbh ... Might not until it comes out digitally ! But ive heard the spoilers and theyre very nice. I'm glad the franchise decided to give lando a link to luke. Though honestly im still thinking about the lando solo book and wondering bout Lobot....its been years but that ending still deeply effects me. I hope we get a comic or book about lando and lukes adventures

Lando shivered, and not just because of the brutal cold weather on the planet, he was pretty sure he was getting sick. He’d be alright though. Probably. Hopefully.
Luke peered at him, a worried expression on his face, as if he could sense that Lando was ill. “Are you alright?”
“Yes.” He paused, turning his head slowly to look at Luke. “Well, no. I’m not sure I am. As much as I would love if there were two of you. I’m pretty sure there shouldn’t be.”
“Two?” Luke waved his hand in front of Lando’s face, concerned. “You’re seeing double?”
“Y-yeah.” He cleared his throat. “Yes. Two. Of you. Two gorgeous Jedi knights with frowning faces.” It wasn’t good, Lando knew that of course, but still….two Lukes? It was a beautiful sight.
“That’s- …not good.” Luke echoed Lando’s thoughts and reached for his comms device. “I’ll call a medic.”
“No! It’s … I’m-” He was going to say ‘fine’, even though he clearly wasn’t, but he couldn’t finish his sentence due to the fact his knees gave way. The floor looked hard and unforgiving. Oh, this is gonna hurt, he thought, hoping he wouldn’t injure himself too much when he hit the floor. But he didn’t. Because Luke caught him in his arms.
“It’s ok, I’ve got you.” Luke murmured, holding Lando close.
“You….you caught me.” Lando whispered in surprise. Although, he wasn’t sure why he was surprised. Luke was the heroic sort, catching people in his arms probably came natural.
“Of course. Just like you caught me, remember?” Luke said softly, gently rubbing circles on Lando’s back.
“Oh…yeah. How…how could I forget? Hell of a first meeting.” Lando’s voice was hoarse, his throat sore, but he was instantly reminded of that moment. He hadn’t realised at the time just how important that moment would become, how that dramatic first meeting would lead to the most wonderful relationship he’d ever been in.
Meanwhile, while Lando reminisced, Luke had reached for his comms device with his free hand and had called a medic, before placing it back on his belt.
“Won’t be long.” Luke slowly lowered Lando to the ground, carefully holding him steady, so that the two of them sat side by side. Luke pulled Lando close, letting him rest his head on Luke’s shoulder.
“Ok.” Lando relaxed into Luke’s embrace, and shivered again. He could feel the warmth from Luke, but it made no impact, he was freezing.
“Cold?”
“Yeah.” Lando whispered, his voice almost going completely.
Luke untied his cape and placed it around Lando’s shoulders, tucking the thick fabric so it kept the icy wind out, before hugging him close again. They sat in comfortable silence, as snow began to softly fall, and waited for the medic. Lando hoped they took they’re time, it was quite romantic.
“Romantic?” Luke asked.
“Oh, did I say that out loud?” Lando didn’t think he had spoken, but apparently he had. It seemed he was more out of it than he realised.
“Yes. And this isn’t exactly what I’d call romantic.” Luke replied.
“You. Me. Under one cape. Snow. It’s nice.”
“You’re forgetting the part where we’re waiting for a medic because you collapsed.”
“Well, nothing’s ever perfect.”
Despite how worried he was, Luke couldn’t help but laugh. Lando smiled, and drifted off into a light sleep, safe in Luke’s arms.
