Tikal from Sonic the Hedgehog series
Tikal (ティカル Tikaru?) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She was an anthropomorphic echidna spirit and the only daughter of Pachacamac, a power-hungry patriach who was the last chieftain of the Knuckles Clan, which resided in what is now the Mystic Ruins 3,000 years ago.
Its name references the ruins of Tikal, an ancient Mayan citadel in the rainforests of northern Guatemala. Possibly dating back to the 1st century CE, Tikal flourished between 200 and 850 CE. and was later abandoned. Iconic temple and palace ruins include the giant ceremonial Pyramid of the Lost World and the Temple of the Great Jaguar. At 70 meters, Templo IV is the tallest pre-Columbian structure in the Americas and offers breathtaking views.

Knuckles the Echidna from Sonic the Hedgehog.
Knuckles is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an echidna of the Knuckles Clan (an ancient clan of echidnas that inhabited what would become known as the Mystic Ruins approximately 3,000 years ago). They are inspired by various peoples from southern Abya Yala.
