Just stopping by to wish all of you a very merry Christmas / Happy Holidays!

I am sorry I haven’t been around since my last entry. My life has basically consisted of work, eat, sleep, REPEAT and I haven’t been this exhausted in forever. I pretty much fell asleep as soon as I was home. I still feel like I didn’t get much sleep but I am using as much of the holidays as I can to “stock up” on sleep. Work has been very exhausting and everything surrounding it as well. And now it’s Christmas and that is exhausting too *LOL* So yeah, LamLam hasn’t forgotten you and I really wish I could be around more and no longer miss stuff on tumblr & co. but...I just don’t have the energy. I look like a walking corpse at the moment and that’s still a flattering thing to say -.-

So, the Maker and I had a disagreement...

Seriously, something’s wrong with the year 2016!

Bitch colleague gets fired for being a uber bitch in April, LamLam works her not to lil butt off alone until July. LamLam postpones summer vacation. LamLam gets new colleague in July. While LamLam is off for her summer vacation end of July/start of August, said colleague screws up massively (she’s been a bit of the pain in the meanwhile, too) and gets fired while I am on vacation and I return to a mini chaos.

LamLam works all alone again until October, postpones her vacation AGAIN...and now that new colleague I helped find turns out to be the biggest c*** I’ve ever met. She was all nice and sweet and yay and I thought good, we are equal, we are of the same mind, this is gonna work out. Three weeks into the job, she begins giving me the cold shoulder and tells my bosses I am being bitchy. Too bad for her that there are two other colleagues and in the end, Mrs. “I can get a job anywhere” turns out to have been trying for my position and have me shown the door. Bosses put an end to it and...she is fired. After a month.

Good thing I have no more vacations to postpone. But lemme tell you, it’s no fun to work on the most stressing days, care for a diabetic cat, nurse my issues, work while having the stomach flu (if they all get sick, their fault) and NOW I am in dire need for another mini surgery which I plan to get and *will* get on Wednesday. I don’t care what they say. Do not fancy sepsis, thank you.

So yeah, still alive...just lacking time for the fun stuff. I am about halfway done with the final chapter of @not-anaddict‘s followers giveaway prompt and each time I sit down and plan to finish it, I keep getting occupied *SCREAMS*

I am sorry I am taking so long. I am not getting a new colleague until October 1st (and I found her, too...mwahahahah). My planned vacation in the final week of September was therefore postponed too and won’t happen until the last week of October now *LE SIGH* Working as fast as I can. Last week’s heat wave killed me and this week, one of my bosses is going on vacation so until today, I was running around like mad getting things done

For the umpteenth time that early noon, Anders dragged his tired body upthe staircase, a moth eaten blanket in one hand, one of Fenris’ tunics in hisother. Each step strained his legs and he was panting as he walked, sweatrunning down his face. Anders didn’t know where he got the energy from to keepmoving despite just wanting to collapse, but he knew why he couldn’t just stop and lay down instead to rest.

Anders passed Fenris’ room and strolled down the semi-dark corridor.There, at the far end, in one of the narrowest rooms of the mansion, lay hislittle kingdom of comfort. He had been steadily building it since sunrise,unable to stop doing so. Part of himwas thankful for the opportunity to experience this part of his nature.

Part of him damned his nesting instincts to the Void.

Currently suffering from the almost unbearable heat that we really don’t need anymore at the end of August -.- Also, I am writing on the prompt stuff...I just...keep rewriting them all the time cuz I think what I got sucks balls? Ahahaha. Maybe getting faster internet next week will inspire me...that is, if the setup works and the connection holds what it promises.

The day didn’t start off too well when I peek at tumblr half-asleep at 5.30 in the morning and stumble across @theunemployedrogue‘s scheduled post. Thank you to those people who have immediately taken action when this post showed up and I would appreciate it if you let me know if you find out anything.

Before anyone reports LamLam missing again...

My life in a nutshell since 2nd week of vacation:

  • Mom was dragging me basically everywhere
  • Also 2nd week of vacation, it turned out my cat was diabetic again and requires treatment. That means, my life is once again dictated by the clock. She needs insulin every 12 hours and specific food management. She is having surgery on her teeth on September 26th. Hopefully, that’ll finally mark the end of her diabetes. At this point. my deepest apologies to @araglas1989​ - I had meant to get back at you so you know I won’t be able to meet up somewhere because...cat.
  • I returned to work Monday last week to discover that my new colleague is already my ex-colleague cuz she screwed up terribly. So, we’re back to square one. Bosses are once again looking for a new one. Until then, office is all mine. Again. On the plus side, they expressed how happy they are with my work and I am receiving a bonus this month additionally to my salary and get another raise in January.

I’ve been using the few hours every evening between treating cat and sleep to work on the giveaway stories. The first one is getting close to being wrapped up. Looking forward to the weekend -.-

On my balcony! LMAO. Not going anywhere, wouldn’t have the energy for it. Though, I think if I sit outside with my cat snoring on the other chair and plan on writing, I might need another keyboard connected to my lovely laptop *waves from balcony*. I mean, the keyboard is great but not made for massive typing... *pokes it*

Life is going a lot better. I had to switch medication and the new one eventually nipped my panic attacks in the butt during the last week. LamLam may proudly report that she has been living and sleeping on her own since Wednesday last week! My brain has holes here and there, so I keep forgetting to do some things or get back at people and what not -.- I am hoping this, too, will improve over the following weeks. So far, I am good getting my job done and keep my household neat AND remember to eat regular meals each day, but that is taking 100% of my current capacity.

Work is a lot less bad since that bitch is gone. My new colleague started on July 1st and is slowly getting a hang on things now. We have another week together and then I am FINALLY GOING ON VACATION for two weeks on the 25th! 

I have been looking into writing stuff. Hope brain improves some more over the next week, so I can get back to writing during my vacation. *waves* There, update for y’all hahaha *squeezes @moustashleigh*
