Since I was asked about how I do my illustrations here some in-betweens for the last one: rough sketch, lines, rough background colors and layers as masks (one for the inside of the tarp and on for the characters), starting to add colour and after that light and weather effects on extra layers, experimenting around with layer effects ... That was all done in procreate. Often enough I just paint as much as possible on just one layer though... Here some glimpses from the scene I am working in at the moment. Poor Adolin, knowing he has been thoroughly beaten...
