he's the main bitch and he knows it
Ming-Na brings such an incredible swagger to her character. We played with that a lot. There was something I called “the Fennec look.” Where sometimes I would design scenes to just end on her giving Boba a look that spoke volumes.
Temuera Morrison talks about his experience in “The Book of Boba Fett” to Television New Zealand (TVNZ)

important to note that this isnt just TVNZ, its Te Karere, run under TVNZ. this is the first te reo māori speaking tv news programme to be allowed to air, just hit its 30 year anniversary. its all the more important that he is speaking about his experience as a māori man on a māori show
So I finally watched the Book of Boba Fett. And let’s just say that if you don’t enjoy talking about Boba Fett’s dusty desert pyjamas and Temuera Morrison’s delightful freckles, then you’re probably not going to get much meaningful conversation out of me right now. Woof. ;-)
losing my mind so lose it with me
Look at how wholesome this man is! He looks like he'd be so fun to have a conversation with lol
Temuera Morrison was gifted a Māori style carving of Boba Fett’s helmet created by Aotearoa New Zealand multi-disciplinary artist, Mr G Hoete Art.

Here are some quotes with the articles linked:
“Well, there are people — I’m thinking of Captain Rex for one. He looks a little like me. There’s Commander Cody. What happened to those guys? There’s all those clone armies,” Morrison said. “That could be something fresh and new and exciting.”
-Temuera Morrison for the Washington Post
“[Their portrayal, the Tusken Raiders] was better than it was [in the films],” Morrison said. “Then I read [in the script that] we were throwing dead bodies just on the fire and I was going, ‘Oh, hang on, we got to put a bit of ceremony into this.’ But they are the Indigenous of the sands of Tatooine, and I was creating a little bit more history about their own culture — and I was pulling from my own culture, in a way, in terms of the ceremonies and preparing the warrior and preparing a weapon. And Boba has never experienced a real family before — with the young Tuskens and the old Tuskens — and protecting their land.”
“Asked about the bikers, Morrison replied, “Some of these things are out of our control. We can’t say as performers, ‘We don’t want to work with these people, that’s not good enough.’ … They brought a lot of color to it, I thought … they were great, were working hard.””
-Temuera Morrison for the Hollywood Reporter
