Luke 100% has a thing for his partner in dresses with high slits. Like (especially if they’re a fellow Jedi that travels around with him) they’re all “oh Luke and I have seen each other in dire straits/embarrassing situations, so he won’t mind.” And they lean against the couch just right and the slit falls to expose 90% of their legs, or they’re outside and there’s a breeze that blows the slit open. And he’s just STARING in absolute awe, especially if they’re barefoot, with the galaxy’s biggest puppy eyes and trying to hide how turned on he is and how hard he’s falling in love.

You should not be doing this.
Luke was sitting in the grass, legs crossed, eyes shut and hands leisurely resting on his knees, his expression the picture or serenity. Not one line of worry or stress was there on his handsome face as he meditated, completely in tune with the Force flowing through him and the world around you.
You, however, had just had a long day. Your muscles ached, your mind was still buzzing with the little worries that had piled up over the busy hours, and though it might have helped, meditation wasn't what you were craving at the moment.
In your defence, you really tried to talk yourself out of disturbing Luke. But it really wasn't your fault he looked as inviting as he did.
Silently, you kneeled next to him and left a light kiss on his cheek.
Luke hummed softly in acknowledgement, but didn't open his eyes. He got a bit like that sometimes - so deep in his meditation that it took signs of real distress to pull him out. A pinch of guilt nagged at you, but the need to be in his arms silenced it. You didn't mean to startle him, though, so you didn't call his name. You shifted on the grass so you were now behind him and laid your hands on his strong arms, feeling his deep breaths as they entered and left his body. That alone was soothing, simply synching your breath to his. You leaned in and lovingly brushed your lips against his neck, lingering on his pulse where you knew he was sensitive.
This time, it wasn't long before Luke's breath hitched, its steady rhythm finally broken.
"Love…" he murmured, a bit amused, but mostly with affection. Pleased you had managed to coax him back to the real world, you were only half-apologetic as your lips made their way up his neck.
"Sorry," you mumbled against his jaw, "I just really want to feel you close right now."
You loved how quick he was to reply, "Then I'm all yours."
You only pulled away enough for Luke to turn around, giving you his undivided attention and the contact you'd been seeking. He wrapped his arms around you, easily pulling you into his lap.
"What's wrong?" He asked the soft question before lightly trailing his lips over your cheek the way you'd done to him. You leaned into his touch with a content sigh.
"Nothing's wrong, I'm just… really tired," you admitted, letting your fingers run through his impossibly soft hair. "Running a Jedi school is more exhausting than I realized it would… be…"
Your voice stuttered and faded as Luke's trail of kisses descended towards your neck.
"I know," Luke sighed, your skin warming where his lips brushed it. "That's why I'm so glad I have you by my side."
"The only reason?" you meant to sound playful, but your voice came out more breathy than anything as his mouth reached the sensitive spot right below your ear. The vibrations of his low chuckle sent a pleasant shudder through you.
"I can think of a couple more."
"Only a couple?" you teased on. Your body was growing warm under his gestures of affection, and, well… his concentration was fully broken, anyway. Now that you had him all to yourself, it would have been a terrible waste not to make the most of a quiet moment when you were both free of other responsibilities.
Luke seemed to be thinking along the same lines. He pulled away from your neck, his eyes full of mirth as they settled on your lips. He captured them in a quick but enthusiastic kiss. "One." He did it again. "Two." And again. "Three." One for good measure. "Four." When he was satisfied he had you thoroughly breathless and flushed, he asked, "How many more would you like?"
Chasing after words, you let your thumb brush over the lips that could make you forget all the Basic you knew with a single touch.
"I'm not sure there's a number high enough."
Cheesy of you, but it was the truth. And you couldn't imagine a better feeling than knowing Luke felt the same and having him prove so every day.
His arms tightened around you, and you yelped as you suddenly found yourself lying on the soft grass, Luke hovering above you with that same proof of desire in his eyes.
"Seems like we'll be here all night, then."

Luke Skywalker.
The name strikes fear in anyone who wants to plunge the galaxy back into a reign of terror.
But for those who have heard of or had known despair under oppressive imperial rule, the name inspires hope.
Luke Skywalker.
The hero whom very parent tells their child to aspire to be, whatever news or myth about him had reached their part of the galaxy.
What they don't hear of is the Luke Skywalker before you now: Crouched, hair ruffled, gardening claws in hand.
And shirtless.
"Y/N, could you hand me the towel?"
Luke looking up at you with those blue eyes snapped you from your thoughts.
"Oh, sure, wait a sec," you replied, praying that he did not think much about why your eyes had been on him.
You looked around for his hand towel, and stood from your crouching position when you found it on a wooden table.
Taking it, you smiled to yourself. He forgot. Luke tends to forget himself when he is doing something for others.
"Here you go, farm boy," you called the former moisture farmer's attention as you approached him, arm outstretched to hand him his request. You realized he has belly fat when you got near enough.
Luke looked up from his plowing, forehead shimmering with sweat.
"Thank you," he said, receiving the white towel, his eyes as soft as his smile.
Maker, why does he have to smile?
"You're welcome," you replied, before returning to your spot.
For a moment, you debated whether you should crouch facing him or crouch with your back turned. Not wanting to look "weird", you just returned to facing him.
You glanced at Luke and quickly shifted your focus to the soil before you, but the way the muscles of his arms looked as he worked purposefully was already etched on your memory.
As you continued plowing with the gardening claws, you couldn't decide which look was the winner: dressed-down Luke, hooded Jedi in a black suit with the belt and boots, or this topless man.
Quickly, you shook your head to shake off your thoughts.
But when Luke moved to work on another part of the garden, he effortlessly drew your eyes to him.
He looked good in those pants and boots, which both had brown patches from the dirt. In fact, he makes anything look good that you almost want to be him.
You caught him stretching.
Maker, it should be illegal to be that hot.
Yes, hot, you finally admit to yourself since meeting the Jedi.
Luke is not one to command attention immediately, but he has a quiet confidence that gradually tugs at the heartstrings.
He is a powerful Force-user, sure, but that is not his real power.
Kind, he is kind.
And he, with your help, will plant the seeds of kindness in the future Jedi.
You continued plowing the earth and conversing with your thoughts until the sun turned the sky an ombré blue, purple, pink, orange, and yellow.
You stopped to admire the sky show.
"Our garden will soon be as colorful," you heard Luke say from where he was, stealing your attention from the sky.
"And full of vegetables for the students," he added as he stood, leaving the gardening claws on the soil, leaving his abs exposed, leaving the light to reveal this natural wonder that is Luke Skywalker.
"Yeah," you replied, half to him, half to your thoughts.
"Shall we call it a day?" Luke said as he turned his head towards you.
You nodded and stood. "I think we should."
Luke's lips curled into a smile upon hearing your reply.
"Let's go," he said with a nod, and moved to pick up his top as you joined him to go back inside the Jedi academy.
"Wait, don't put it on yet," you stopped him out of concern. He paused, a puzzled look on his face.
"Give me your towel," you said.
Luke, still confused, followed your word. You took the towel and his eyes followed you as you went around him.
"May I?" you asked, and he nodded.
Then you began patting his back with the towel, not wanting him to get sick. Luke stood still, feeling some kind of Force lightning and a mysterious joy.
Was his breathing giving him away?
"Done!" you said cheerfully with a smile, satisfied.
"Thank you," Luke said, his voice filled with gratitude.
"You're welcome," you replied with a smile, holding the towel for him while he put his shirt back on.
After he took the towel, you both began to walk up towards the academy. Behind you both was the earth where the vegetables you two had chosen to plant would be grown for everyone at the school.
Flowers would make it more colorful, Luke thought.
And as you continued to walk side by side, he wondered what flower the person beside him would most like.
so lovely as always 💛 reading your luke stories brings me so much joy & comfort, thank you for writing 🌸
Against the Tide
Luke Skywalker x Reader
Genre: Romance (gender neutral)
Summary: Luke and you share a moment in our planet, during a stopover at the beach with other Star Wars characters (it's up to you to imagine who ☺️ although the Empire still exists here). The sun sets in the end and I am now shamelessly plugging this other fanfic: Tatooine Sunset. And if you wish to stargaze with Luke, here's Closing the Spaces Between Us.
Warnings: Just be careful while at sea or in the ocean folks!
🌊
The turquoise sea glistened under the afternoon sun.
You wiggled your toes and they dug into the sand below the knee-deep water. Like everyone else, the work to be done for freedom remained on your mind but oh, how you missed this feeling!
"Y/N!" Luke called your attention from behind.
You turned slightly to his direction and saw him wade towards you.
He wore only board shorts, and his smile, of course, which warmed the heart.
"What are you doing?" Luke said, stopping once he was beside you.
"Just enjoying the moment," you replied, giving him a smile.
"You missed your home planet, didn't you?" he asked. "Very much," you replied.
"It's hard not to," Luke said, and he waded past you.
You followed him carefully.
Stopping beside him, you studied his face. "You're having fun?" you remarked more than asked.
Luke looked at you and gave you nods. Then he fixed his eyes on the water and sent ripples out to the direction of the waves with his hands. His eyes followed the ripples and settled where the sky and ocean met.
"Water is hard to come by in Tatooine," he said, as a mildly strong wave went past your thighs.
"Well, welcome to water world," you said in a singsong voice and when you looked at him, you caught his contagious smile.
"I can see that," Luke said playfully, eyes still on the horizon.
"About 71 percent of Planet Earth's surface is water," you offered, then quickly said, "Sorry, I'm being a nerd!"
"What are you saying? That's amazing to know!" he said as he turned to face you.
Another mildly strong wave came and Luke, forgetting to balance, was almost knocked off. You quickly grabbed his arms and helped keep him up.
"Be careful!" you said, laughing along with him.
"Thanks," Luke said, his blue eyes meeting yours. You felt like you could drown in them and you broke eye contact, lest it would give you away, and your hands began to leave contact with his wet skin.
But his hand grabbed yours.
"Come on, Y/N!" Luke said, leading you farther from the beach.
"Luke!" you could only utter.
He stopped amid chest-deep waters. You looked down, the clean water allowing you to see your hands clasped together below the surface.
"When the wave comes, we jump, okay?" Luke said.
You looked up to see him looking at you, eagerness spread across his handsome face.
You chuckled and replied, "Okay!"
Luke smiled at you, and you hoped that if you were blushing then he would think that it was just because of exposure to Earth's one sun.
"I've seen others do it," he said, now looking at a coming wave. You followed his gaze.
"Here we go," he said, as you prepared to jump and squeezed his hand.
"Ready, go!" Luke said, and you jumped together.
The both of you laughed, your hands not letting each other go.
You two exchanged smiles before Luke turned around to face the shore, waving his free arm up in the air, while you checked if a big wave was coming.
Seeing none, you briefly looked at your friends. They stayed where they were at the beach, either waving their hands or giving a thumbs up.
"We're good!" one of them shouted in response to Luke.
"You two enjoy there!" another one teased, while everyone was smiling and some exchanged knowing looks.
When Luke turned to face you and shrugged, you chuckled.
"Shall we give it another go?" he said, adding, "But it is okay if you don't want to. I know you live here and this may not be new or that exciting to you."
You playfully splashed water onto him with your free hand.
"What are you saying? I would love to do that with you, Luke," you said, looking him in the eye.
Then there goes his smile again. You felt like you could melt then and there.
"Good," Luke said.
You then both faced the horizon and waited for the next wave you could jump with.
After several more jumps and some more laughter, you both watched the sun begin to set as the waters calmed a bit.
"Y/N?" you heard him tentatively say.
"Yes, Luke?" you asked, turning your head to look at him. You loved speaking his name and a part of you wanted him to know that.
"I love the little things you do, even when you call yourself a nerd. You can be yourself around me. I feel free around you," Luke confessed as he reassured you.
You smiled as he turned his head and your eyes met again.
"Thank you," you said, and Luke's lips curled into a content smile before his gaze returned to the horizon.
You looked back at the sunset, and he confessed some more.
"I have felt braver going against the Empire, knowing that you're here," Luke said, squeezing your hand at the last words.
You caught your breath.
"And I feel braver going against the tide with you too, Luke Skywalker," you said, eyes fixed upon his face, giving his hand a squeeze while the sun painted red streaks in the canvass above.
His eyes left the sunset and looked at you. Thinking that this moment might not happen again, you mustered your courage and rested your head on his bare shoulder.
Luke, feeling more confident and thoroughly enjoying this moment with you, gently rested his head on top of yours.
After a while of watching the sunset, you both agreed to head back to the others before it got dark.
You had to let go of each other's hands as you turned around, but you held Luke's hand again and reminded him, "Careful." He smiled at your gesture and held your hand firmly.
Your hands were inseparable, even after the both of you emerged from the waters.
thinking about wave jumping with sweet boy luke 🥺 ! holding hands under the water & enjoying the sunset together. really nice 💙
It’s more of a sappy thot, not a smutty thot but Luke Skywalker’s chin dimple deserves to be kissed and he just deserves someone to be soft with. That’s all, thank you for coming to my ted talk.
anon! all thoughts are welcome here, especially soft ones. i am such a sap. it’s not even funny.
When he wakes up next to you, it’s with a start, legs thrashing in the silk sheets as he bolts into a sitting position. “Damnit,” he seethes, neck twisting to stare out the window, “it’s already late. I overslept, shit.”
Catching the agitated rise and fall of his voice, you emerge from the kitchen, dressed only in a fluffy robe. “Darling,” you call, stepping into your shared bedroom, “what is it?”
Blue eyes pierce yours, the last vestiges of sleep easily falling away. “It’s —“ he sighs, running a hand through his shaggy blonde hair — “I overslept, is all.” Luke offers you a half smile. “I’m sorry I startled you,” he apologizes, speaking in that earnest voice of his. His voice is like the sun streaming through the windows, filtering through the curtains the two of you installed last week: it’s warm, and tender, and if it sometimes gets a little cloudy or shy, Luke Skywalker has more than earned the right to a few bad days every now and again.
But right now he’s smiling in tender recognition, and you are overcome with simple adoration for this man and all that is to you friend lover fighter that you lunge for him, topping onto to the bed and pulling him with you, locking your arms around his strong, bare torso.
He is quiet as he lays with you, watching you trace the outline of his jaw, his nose, his cheeks, and finally — finally — that small dimple on his chin, the one that makes him seem more like a dreamer than a hardened warrior.
“I love you, you know that?” the question dances across your skin.
“course I do, Farmboy,” you laugh, kissing him. “I married you, didn’t I?”
