Now that I'm a grown ass woman, looking at the at the Autry Museum... They did some things right and they did others wrong.
- The Hall of Black Cowboys was on the main floor, right by the doors. It was one of the first things you saw as you walked in.
- The Hall of TV shows was down on the sub-floor. You had to go down two flights of stairs to get to it.
But looking back, it really does irritate me that the exhibits were segregated.
What's so wrong with the mannequin of Bass standing next to Wyatt Earp? Are they afraid they'll realize Earp was a lunatic when they read the plaques?
No... despite what the shitty Hollywood movies would have you believe Bass Reeves was not a white man.
