The third clip is the one that was posted on Yahoo two days ago. And while the second clip doesn’t seem edited (as far as I can tell), the first one is very choppy and probably not how it plays out in the film. They’re still fun to watch, though.

I didn’t think it was possible to become even MORE excited about this movie… but clearly it is.

These three new pictures show Benjamin Walker as the (very) aged Abraham Lincoln examining his old ax in the first photo, Rufus Sewell as Adam, Erin Wasson as Vadoma, and Anthony Mackie as a (captured) William Johnson in the second photo, and Anthony Mackie as William Johnson brandishing two pistols in the third photo.

EDIT: Just found a fourth image of Rufus Sewell holding… a stick? Could be Abe’s ax. This shot was in one of the trailers but you can really see how creepy-awesome he looks in this HD shot.

Why do foreign countries always get better trailers then the U.S.? I’m pretty sure I have a general idea of what Abe and Mary are discussing but still… (MILD spoiler warning) I think maybe Mary is asking him what he does all the time at night and Abe is describing… something (so much for HONEST Abe, right?) Aha… but in the end he does tell her something about Vampires, but she takes it as a joke (little does she know…). I highly suggest muting the video because the Mary Russian laugh is totally obnoxious (that is not a jab at Russians) and doesn’t fit very well.

So… anyone out there who speaks Russian care to translate? I would love you forever if you did… <3

Notes: I hope they aren’t going to introduce Mary before Abe meets Henry, that would just completely screw with the entire progression of the story. Abe didn’t even meet Mary until he was like… 28 I think.

As for the “Late to the Theater” don’t get too bent out of shape that they are changing the ending. Remember, Lincoln was late to the theater on the night he died. He showed up about a quarter of the way into the play.
