900 years old?! The flashback with Edeva was one of my fav parts, and I was looking forward to it in the film! Not happy. :(

*shrugs*  I don’t really know what to expect at this point.  I was just quoting the article about Henry’s movie age.  But, if you do the math, you’d see they over-quoted his age by quite a few centuries. 

From the book:

  • The ships land on Roanoke Island on July 22, 1587.
  • Henry is 23-years-old.  Based on this, Henry’s birth year is 1564. 
  • He meets Abe on June 30/31, 1825.  At that point, he should be 261-years-old.

Which is why I’m confused as to where 900 came from.  I’m guessing they’re making him even older and I’m wondering how different that’ll make him.

To be honest, I’m kinda curious.

Sure they are exaggerating ages and mucking with the sunglasses.  It's annoying, but I'm ok with it. You have to expect certain changes from book to film.

Like the huge nerd-rage with super-hero movies. Super Heros wear masks. Actors hate masks.

Adam is suppose to be what? 5000 years old? So assuming he's in his mid to late 20s, he was born somewhere around 3120 BCE? - He's freaking Mesopotamian?!

Yes, there's a nugget of a folklore-based Adam fan-fic growing in my brain. I've been looking to play with the ancient vampire myths for some time now and this is just too good to pass up for me.
