so the Coachella set list just dropped and I can't wait for the american "influencers" and the others who attend to wonder who tf blur is and bitch about it 🫠

I mean a fuck tonne of them complained and didn't get it when Damon shared the stage with Billie Eilish whilst she covered his song that one time. because let's face it, a fuck tonne of them didn't even know who he was and complained about him being there (and when I tell you I got so mad—) and no one realised that ey up, this is the main singer from gorillaz.

but ya know, this ain't gorillaz, this is blur and they'll be so underappreciated it's unreal

maybe I'm salty because I wasn't able to see their reunion tour last year for the new album but still

I won't lie, I'm gutted Damon said "It's time to wrap up this campaign" when it comes to Blur and that it was "too much" for him.

I honestly wanted to see them play live, I was so damn disappointed I didn't get to see them live earlier this year.

But hey, I guess there is some sort of silver lining to it... A new Gorillaz album 💪

billy butcher strikes me as that sort of person that would have taken oasis' side during the their feud with blur back in the 90s. he was a big oasis fan and still is. i feel like if he was asked to give his opinion on blur, his answer would be "damon albarn is a right cunt", he wouldn't focus as much on the rest of the band members but he definitely thinks they're all twats and their music is "shite".

Honestly this makes sense...

I won't lie, I think Gorillaz have been my top artist ever since I first got Spotify back in 2018 and I think Blur have been second for the past three years... Damon Albarn took over my life, I swear... 😬

I won't lie, I'm surprised Tyler, The Creator and Eminem made the top five list...
