SO... THE FIRST MINUTE RULES. OMG, IT'S SO PRETTY. T_____T And wow, okay, I really love the verses, too. (This entire song is in English? I did not know that o_o). My major qualm with this song is that the end of the verses/prechorus of the song provide so much potential for a big "BOOM" in the chorus, something with impressive vocals.. but it's just sort of.. underwhelming? By the time I'm one line into the chorus I'm bored.. which makes me really sad because the promotion for this album was amaaaazing the visuals are out of this world gorgeous and just.. wow this is the worst chorus I've ever heard. And the chorus is the most important part of the song. I don't think the verses should be stronger than the chorus!! Ah!! It's so unbalanced ;_;
Taeyeon and Jessica should win all the awards for their parts though, the song needs more of that over all and not randomly dispersed throughout the song. Especially in the chorus. But seriously, the verses are beautiful, and at the risk of sounding like a broken record, I wish the rest of the song reflected them. What is up with all the chanting -_-
That all aside, the video is the most cinematically captivating music video I've ever seen ohhhh myyyyy wooooooord. I'd love to know what the budget was for it. And Jessica's bit with the bird was so beautiful ;~; and the costuming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahh<3
