While the 3Hopes stories are rough around the edges and has some...unfortunate story tropes, I will still favor it over 3Houses because Byleth is not the main focus that drains the narratives into a stupid idealistic “peace through unification” story. The dynamics of each fantasy nation and how they manage power and resources is so fun to think about personally.
