Little things fueled Hoshido’s army with nightmares as much as Queen Katerina and her retainer. Her enigmatic retainer, not a lot of Hoshidians knew she was a woman, was also the leader of one of the most feared Nohrian mercenary company, the blue cloaks. Not even the ninjas were able to scape the bitter end of her axe, when she wasn’t using the sword that her Queen gifted her.

She never gave a name to call her, not a place where she was born or if she has someone to call family or friend before she began her adventures. The rumours which filled King Garon’s court and the entire continent gave her different origins. Some of them said she was a Hoshidian soldier who betrayed that army, only because her bright red hair was uncommon in Nohr. The only thing that schoolars agree is that her first act of bravery was in a fishing village at the west coast of Nohr, saving the village from the attack of some outlaws. She didn’t do it alone, but with her wits and the help of the villagers, who became their firts followers. Her little company was growing time by time until it become an army with more than nine thousand soldiers. It was then when in a battle at the Woods of Forlon her company met a battle between Queen Katerina’s army battling an ambush of faceless. Since then, the two women became allies, but it wasn’t until a battle between a small Hoshidian army at the border coast between the two countries when she officially her retainer. 

The duo was the most aclaimed of Nohr, these two heroines were known everywhere as their saviors. In Hoshido were feared as a plague, known for being specially ruthless if one them get hurt. The bond between the Queen and her retainer where so strong that everyone was startled when the warrior dissapeared after a batlle agains King Sumeragi’s army. Some people said she flew with an Hoshidian shrine maiden, followed by Sumeragi’s retainer, Saizo IV, but little people believe those rumours. The thruth is, a year and half later, she appeared in the middle of another battle between the Nohr and Hoshido army, maybe to apologize for her absence, or to bid farewell to her Queen, because that was the last fight she fought.

She was killed by Saizo IV, ending her period of terror in Hoshido. Though the ninja never talked about his great feat. Some has speculated because he actually didn’t killed her in an honorable way, throwing her for the Bottomless Canyon. But anybody sae him throwing her, neither. The only thing people saw was them together, and then the woman falling, so anybody could speak with certainty except the head of Isagato clan, who take keep that secret until his death.
