Zinelocke, a free fan anthology centered around nuzlocke works (comics, written stuff, etc), is out!
This project was a large labor of love from all the people involved including me. My piece was an illustration of my Myths of Unova finale, where Hydreigon felt like the run ender for everyone involved. Thanks to the zine, you can see more awesome works (art and written!) too! And maybe you will discover some new nuzlocke favs!

Izzy gijinka heavily influenced by Zenyatta, if she were to become a Hydreigon.
If I had made some sequel to Myths of Unova to follow the Pokemon that became part of Nina’s team after Asha nearly wiped them out, Izzy would travel with Nina and evolve to her final evo only after Nina is able to deal with her PTSD. This image was also with an Asha design to show the contrast between Izzy’s peaceful design despite being the same Pokemon species.

It’s REALLY different from your design, but I imagine that after spending such a long time with Nina, she’d change her outfit to something modern. She’d probably still be a mountain guide, so I tried to replicate that but my drawings are so bad, they make you wish you were blind like Izzy.

Did a quick drawing of Kynim’s version of Hydreigon while I tested out some new brushes. (colouring ended up being horrendous though)
I used Photoshop for everything.

The foreshadowing panel in my latest nuzlocke update.
In the negative spaces, there are also hints of what is to come...and even though the filter is kinda obscure, the red overlay in the picture are silhouettes of the Zekrom and Reshiram.
These are just the few things I want people to know...and of course, the undella runes again...it's not hard to translate so I'll leave that up to the viewer.
...Also this music fits well with it IMO

This brutal Pokémon travels the skies on its six wings. Anything that moves seems like a foe to it, triggering its attack.
I wanted to re-interpret the original design a bit...mostly for comic purposes in my nuzlocke (it can change tho)
