Does psychic damage physically harm you or does it just like push you however many points closer to having a nervous breakdown
this book is worth more than a dozen restaurants that grow their own microgreens on the roof
So important!
[“accessible gardening for people with physical disabilities: a guide to methods, tools and plants” by Janeen R. Adil]
how do I put this.
the curb cut effect is real (i.e. when the world is more accessible, both abled and disabled people benefit from it). and like. it is completely fine to mention the benefits that abled people can gain from accessibility
the problem is that disabled people are always expected to prioritise abled feelings over our own. so it is also completely reasonable when we hear. for the millionth time. "image descriptions also help people who have dodgy internet!" and "ramps help people who have babies in a pram!" etc etc. that might make some of us irritated, to say the least. there should not have to be an abled justification for disabled access
Me too, man 😞
You show up for your first day at Copyright-Free Magic School. As you're going through orientation, you're informed that all new students get a school-assigned familiar that they are responsible for housing and maintaining. The staff member assures you that your assigned familiar is appropriately chosen and reflects you in some way.
Spin this to find out yours. (Remember, you are responsible for maintaining this familiar in your dorm room.)
There are so many different shades of white light bulbs, I am so overwhelmed walking down the light bulb aisle, and then I'm never happy with the one I choose, no matter which one I choose, I get it home and I put it in and I'm like, ugh, I don't like THAT white
Color temperature range charts may be useful when going to try the next option (i kept a list of "nopes" in my wallet until i discovered I want shaded reading lamps, bathroom and kitchen lights all between 3800-4200 and everywhere else not above 3200 nor below 2800. YMMV, I enjoy warmer tone colors but not too warm or I'll get sleepy/depressed).
Different temp-colors for different areas/tasks.
Omg but this is so helpful, I am so glad I am not the only person just completely bewildered by how many different tones are being labeled with a single word! This will help me so much!!!! Thank you!!!!
