I met his gaze and smiled. “Your wish, Tatsumi. If you could pray for anything, right now, what would it be? I’ll ask the kami for you.” “Yumeko...” His eyes softened. For a heartbeat, I could see past the cold and shadows and blank mirror gaze, and the vulnerability there made my stomach clench.

so I haven’t been in your inbox for a while, confessing my undying love to you, so I feel like it’s appropriate to give you a reminder: I adore you and your edits! idk, babe, there’s just something about your edits that is inevitably appealing. they are very harmonious and pleasing to the eye. they are reserved in their use of colour, primarily dominated by black and shades of grey and beige. I guess they qualify as pale edits, but they are just so damn RICH. it’s not over saturation or —
—increase in vividness, the depth of colour is just deep and rich and gorgeous. and I love your use of non-monochromatic colours! they aren’t overbearing, but they are luscious; you select a colour and use shades of it continuously through the edit so it weaves a story from panel to panel. and I love the jewel tones you started using lately. they are vibrant and glowing, and it makes the whole edit look vibrant. 💖
