#actual no irony this is exactly why IJ is an action hero: his legs wobble when he gets hit and he falls down   #he gets tired and he looks tired   #it still hurts days later and he’s tender about it   #he cries a little bit   #he’s not a Cool Action Guy because he always wins effortlessly in an impressive way   #he’s that because of the leg-wobble and the fall down and the getting back up wincing   #you never wanted a guy to Make the Jump so bad as you want indy to make the jump and catch a break

Absolutely this! Indiana Jones isn't superhuman; he's just a guy doing his best in crazy situations. He is out of his depth all the time and he succeeds because he's a problem solver who doesn't give up.

I'm so tired of protagonists who don’t have to struggle to overcome their challenges. I want an inspiring underdog I can cheer for, look up to, be worried for. I don’t want flawless, untouchable heroes. Give us more action heroes like Indiana Jones.
