so much of what people attribute to like inherent biological differences between age groups is a lot more just the result of having different amounts of life experience. is that teenager functionally brain damaged because their brain is "underdeveloped" or have they only been alive for 14 years and thus do not have the same amount of practical experience + wisdom to draw on when dealing with difficult situations.

Is that toddler "overreacting" to losing his favorite toy by crying uncontrollably or is it genuinely the worst thing he's ever experienced because he's only been alive for two years?

Is that teenager "hormonal" because she's obsessed with a boy or is it just the first time she's felt this kind of love?

Is that child "stupid" because they can't figure out a basic problem or is it just the first time they've seen that problem?

I'm more equipped to handle those experiences because I've dealt with them before, not because my brain is more developed or because I'm smarter or inherently a better person. It's their first time being alive, give them a break. Its also your first time being alive, give yourself a break

a gaza-based charity called care for gaza has also been directly assisting families with funds used from their gofundme. they even post videos of themselves giving out food

If like me, you are interested in learning just how absurd orgs like the ADL are and how they often disguise their attempt at upholding Zionism as "fighting antisemitism" you should watch this. He speaks to the head of the ADL in this. I saw it last year and it was huge in changing the way I viewed the ADL. I agree that the ADL is a propaganda arm of Israel and often uses "antisemitism" as a scare tactic to silence its critics.

okay so to actually explain what exactly is happening, it’s an age thing. theyve used ‘protect the children’ and ‘let kids be kids’ as a weapon again. anyone under 16 is banned from social media, but to enforce this they have openly admitted everyone will need to link their government id to their social media. this whole ‘protect the kids’ thing was a very obvious trojan horse for getting ppl to give up their privacy.

and yknow, that alone is a very shitty law even without the whole surrendering your private information to the government thing.

theyve made outside uninhabitable, there’s nowhere left to go. public areas have degenerated, theyve turned hanging out into a crime with loitering, streets feel unwalkable sometimes, parents are more wary of letting their kids walk around on their own than they used to be, and now theyre trying to ban one of the main ways kids manage to distract themselves inside the house.

when i was 15 i was depressed and lonely, unable to leave the house very far, no friends, nobody. the one place that helped me feel less alone was online communities. i wouldve killed myself if it werent for the support i recieved on there. and now theyre trying to ban that for future generations, in a world that hates them being both outside and inside.

the imperial core has a very limited to nonexistent revolutionary potential right now and are generally unreliable: true, i am a known holder of this stance and i think it follows from theory and is verified by empirical evidence

however there are still internal contradictions (there is still working class dissatisfaction with capitalism, the core is not a post-scarcity egalitarian utopia) that communists can work with for smaller scale goals that benefit the movement in the long run (like disrupting the arming of zionists - there is a basis for this, people do already express their dissatisfaction with it and try to protest it from time to time just in a disorganized and easily supressed or coopted manner) and provide experience in organizing that prepares for a future where intensified contradictions can be taken advantage of - a crisis of imperialism, inter-imperialist war...

i think you should take criticism of the lack of revolutionary potential of the imperial core as a challenge rather than as an excuse
