While I was listening to my "Childhood Vibes" playlist, I suddenly remembered how cool and fun the old silhouette iPod commercials used to be! I remember seeing the ads all over the place on TV, in magazines, and on posters. I thought they were totally the coolest! Then again, I was a 9 year old back in 2004, so there were a lot of things I thought were cool, even if they were just commercials/ads. Cut me some slack! :]
I also specifically remember a time where it was a trend to draw your favorite characters in said iPod commercial style, and those images/drawings/edits were EVERYWHERE online back in the 2004-2008 era. I just started feeling nostalgic for that iconic campaign, so I decided to draw my OCs in it for a fun throwback! Fun, silly, worth it! ...I miss my old iPod nano now LMAO
Even getting off of a bus somewhere can be cool as hell if you're looking forward to where you're going enough! Where's she headed? I don't know, but she's excited about it :]
With all the art I've been making for artfight this month, I've been missing drawing my own OCs! So, it's Aniela's turn now! I love drawing her SO MUCH lol. She's just SO DAMN ADORABLE ACK. I also had fun coming up with a background for this one too!
I've been drawing so much this month I think my hand might fall off lmao, but it's chill. Even though the world is falling apart, at least I can always draw what makes me happy! Drawing always helps take the edge off, even if it's technically nothing special. If it makes you happy, draw away!!! :]

Since it's been a bit since I last drew Aniela and her loving robotic specialist girlfriend Shameeka, I decided to fix that! I originally wanted to draw them together for Valentines day, but life had other plans lmao.

I know I posted the sketch earlier this week, but I wanted to finish it now that I've got a good chunk of my energy back. Getting sick with a bad case of COVID-19 for the first time really left me feeling stressed and anxious (and super sick) and I really just wanted to distract myself from my symptoms and cheer myself up.
Drawing my favorite robot girl always helps me feel at least a little better, and I'm glad I'm getting my strength and motivation back finally.

A while back I made a poll where I asked my followers who their favorite was out of a list of my OCs! I also said that I’d draw the winners together! The results were Penn in first place, Chrome in second, Roy in third, and Aniela in fourth! I also scribbled Chester as a bonus because well...damn zero votes? Hello everyone! Happy first day of Pride month! To celebrate the start of what is pretty much my favorite month of the year, I decided to draw my favorite OC pairings going out on a double date to a Pride festival! Nothing sings community quite like gay and lesbian solidarity!
(One note/reminder, Shameeka (Aniela's human girlfriend) actually belongs to my fiancée, but we always pair our characters together anyways and she also gives me permission to draw her as much as I want, especially when she's with Aniela!)

"Yeah, I know HTML; How To Meet Ladies" So anyways I saw a photo of this shirt a while ago and instantly felt a mighty need to draw Aniela wearing it because it's fitting and silly as hell! Although I did change the colors and also made it a hoodie instead, it was ultimately way too funny to pass up and a great way to kill the art block I've had the last few days! It's also something she'd totally wear in canon too, mostly to be cocky and funny lmao
