Can you tell who my bias is? I like drawing only the most flattering caricatures of him.
Did that sailormoon challenge.
But made it RM from that time he had to wear that incredible sailor moon costume.
Inspired by Shadow.
Some BTS fanart I did between boarding assignments.
I was hired to do a sample comic for an educational comic focusing on eating disorders.
I was hired to do this comic page to accompany the Daybreak (Netflix) in world podcast The Only Podcast Left.
Hi. I was hoping you could answer something for me if you're not too busy? When you're trying to get a job like you have with storyboarding do you need to have a reel? On your artist website, I didn't see one - but everyone is telling me I do need one? It's confusing... is there a secret signal?? >.
Hello! You do need some kind of storyboard portfolio. I’m currently working on polishing mine up so I dont have one up as a reference to show you atm, anon. And the boards I do have that are completed, I’m not allowed to post online because the episodes/movie haven’t been released yet. But if a future employer asks to see examples I can send them directly as a pdf, or I have a password protected vimeo video to show them. You dont necessarily need a ‘reel’ but some kind of example of your storyboarding skill.
If you’re not really good at editing and timing out your boards to make a super good animatic, a movie/reel of your boards might make them not look as good. Jpgs of your board panels are good enough as long as you have a simple way for people to page back and forth through them. Don’t feel disheartened. I’m super bad at putting together a storyboarding portfolio too, anon. We’re all just trying out best together!
A behind the scenes look at Tumble Leaf season 3 and all the amazing crew involved. I'm in a couple shots working on stuff lol
I finished the colors on my Taako drawing, from @theadventurezone
Another TAZ illustration.
I wanted to do a drawing of Taako and Kravitz kissing while Taako was holding onto his hat. I love to imagine Taako’s hat is decorated like a vanitas still life. These boys are from @theadventurezone
A drawing I posted to my fan art account.
I was invited to participate in this show and I happily jumped at the chance. I decided to make a self portrait and made it all about the radicalness of taking up space. Especially as a fat POC female queer artist. I was floored that the message seemed to resonate with so many people. Look at all the bids it had so far! All proceeds of the auction go to Planned Parenthood, The Southern Poverty Law Center, LAMBDA Legal, and Mercy for Animals. The flier of the show, included at the bottom, has art by Phylicia Fuentes, Melissa Levengood, and Drew Newman.
Tumble Leaf season 2 won a Parents’ Choice Gold Award and they did this super sweet write-up about it. It makes me feel really proud to be part of the awesome Bixpix fam and help make such a great show.
Had a 3 hour delay before my flight to Miami for Christmas. So I drew all the other disgruntled passengers while we waited.
Doodles from my sketchbook. Was watching Man From UNCLE and then liked the new Adam Driver photos from Interview Magazine. So those were the inspirations for these.
