    “Why is he so late?” you groan, flipping your phone in the air before catching it with one hand.

    “Don’t do that."

    With a roll of the eyes you lean back against the couch. Plush cushions engulf you but do little to dampen the harsh clack of approaching footsteps. Joshua's hand slides into your peripheral before jutting out past your shoulder. His pretty fingers wiggle in expectation. Beside you, Seokmin snickers.

    "I won't do it again."

    "I don't believe you."

    And he shouldn't. Itching to throw the device back into the air, your fingers clamp around the cool glass screen. You tilt your head side to side as you decide the best way out of the lecture when a text message comes through.

    With a press of a button your music pauses. The soft melodies cease, replaced with the electric hum of the small café. Situated within a much larger bookstore, it’s a hub of activity as friends gather and customers congregate. Young and jubilant, the barista laughs along with her jokester coworker. There’s a harsh hiss as one of the many coffee machines fills the open space with the distinct scent of roasted java beans.

    Returning your focus back to your book, you debate whether or not to take a break. The afternoon is escaping right through the gaps of your attention; if you blink too hard night will have fallen. Yet you can’t deny the heaviness behind your eyes. There’s a weariness settling in your spine, right where your posture is the worst. Stretching your legs may provide enough of a boost to see you through to the end of the chapter, or it might backfire and spread your building exhaustion throughout every inch of your body.

    A yawn passes through your lips. Once more your gaze flits around the bookstore. So much to read, so little time. Your latest purchase starts to close, pages slipping out from in between your fingertips. It’s still early in the evening – you could, in theory, push yourself to finish. But books are made to be enjoyed, not rushed.

    Behind you, hushed bickering reaches your ears. It’s coming from your preferred window, the one a small group of gentlemen snagged just an hour prior. Discerning three distinct voices, you decide to listen in on their conversation.

    “You gotta shoot your shot, bro.”

   Music permeates the air and fills the space between each party guest. Congregating in the living room, the majority of the crowd is talking in loud whispers. They want to be heard by some yet still retain some form of privacy. It’s an odd combination; the general volume of their combined voices is deafening with little clarity or sincerity, each person talking merely to hear themselves speak.

   Scanning through the mass of bodies you catch sight of a familiar face. His hair is dark but his features are darker. Shadows hide the exhaustion threatening to dull the shine in his eyes. Armed with a sly smile, he nods along to those around him before excusing himself.

   Unwilling to lose track of him, you’re quick to follow. Weaving through limbs and shoving aside stubborn obstacles rooted in place, you stumble into the kitchen where Seungcheol is refilling his cup. He pays you no mind when you sidle up beside him. Stuck between an island counter and a drunk couple spilling alcohol on themselves, it’s a tight fit. Taking a conspiratorial side-step closer, the counter bears your weight as you break through his personal bubble.

   The door creaks open and the first thing you notice is a mop of shaggy black hair followed by sparkling eyes. Without a doubt he’s checking to see if you’re finally awake; he does this every holiday, after all. Instead of relaxing and slowing down for even a second, he’s full of anticipation. He could be resting like most do on their time off but he’s like a kid on Christmas - late to bed yet early to rise.

   It’s not the holiday itself that is exciting (they’re a dime a dozen), it’s seeing your reactions. When you smile, so does he. And when you laugh it’s sure to double as he follows suit. He’s the kind of guy your friends call ‘boyfriend material’ and your family calls ‘husband material’. The kind of guy that buys journals every year for so-called “Diary Day” - a supposed holiday - just so you can both fill them out together while making plans for the entire year and setting goals to hold each other accountable to. He’s a total dork. A hopeless romantic, even.

   Coloured in pastel pink, you twirled in front of the mirror. From your bustier and its cute garter belts that held your white stockings in place to your lace thong and its lack of secrets to the fluffy collar adorning your neck, you were a sight to behold. Satisfied with your visage, you sauntered to the bathroom for the final touches.

   Applying a layer of shimmer lotion to your left arm, a small smile spread across your face. It had a floral aroma and left a delicate sheen across your skin. Moving onto the other side, manicured nails trailed upward from your wrist all while leaving the product in their wake. Your hand travelled to your shoulder and back down until enough of the cold cream painted your arm. Massaging the lotion into your skin with the tip of your fingers, you hummed a tune from your subconscious. It wasn’t a melody you could recognise off the top of your head but you loved the serenity of its gentle beat.

   Long minutes passed before you finished but your whole body had been reinvigorated from the ‘soothing’ properties of the fragrance. Glancing at the time on your phone and making sure there were no new messages, you moved on to the body mist. Spraying the cool liquid onto various parts of your body, it left a dampness that soon soaked into your skin just as the lotion had. Ankles, knees, wrists, elbows, chest, ears and neck - you were careful not to overdo it, leaving just enough to intoxicate him.

Hello everyone! We have surpassed 750 followers on this account so I'm excited to announce that I'm holding a small event as a 'thank you' to you all 💕 for this event I will accepting* requests based off a specific theme...

As such, I will be writing some pieces that revolve around the five basic senses! These pieces will be either drabbles or oneshots, between .5k to 2k!

*while my requests are always open, I will be prioritising these requests and will be working on them alongside my collab projects.

Now, the event;;

For my first milestone, I would like to provide some options as to what can be requested so everyone can be included! I'd also like to note that I only write reader inserts (mxr)! The genre can be pretty much anything! I write smut, yandere, mafia, dark themes, fluff, angst etc etc. so any of those are fine to request!

Please pick ONE of the following aspects:

1. Visual Aspect

- for this section, you can submit a photo, GIF, MV or era of a specific idol and I will write a piece around it!

Anons are unable to send photos, I believe, so feel free to send a link to a post with the image / GIF or just let me know which member and which MV!

2. Auditory Aspect

- for this section, you can submit an audio clip, cover, lyrics, or MV of a specific idol and I will write a piece around it!

Again, you don't need to send the actual clip, you can just point me in the direction of it or provide a link!

3. Sensory Aspect

- for this section, you can submit just a simple, regular request that revolves around one of the senses.

For example, you can request the idol + genre and the scent of roses, or the taste of mint, or the first touch. It just has to revolve around a form of sense!

   Seungcheol groans, waving his injured arm toward the television. "I should be out there."

   On the screen the rest of his members are performing their latest comeback stage. There's a hole in the choreography where their leader should be. They hardly had enough time to alter their title track's dance to cover the sudden gap let alone the b-side's performance. It's obvious that an integral part of the routine is missing and if you're able to notice it, you know that it sticks out like a sore thumb to him.

   "Yes, but you need to rest."

   "I could've still gone on stage with them. It's just a cast."

Short story: I have a S.coups x Reader drabble (it's 1k tho) coming soon! It's super fluffy! So any Carats I have here, please look forward to it!

Longer story: I did a Prompt Generator Tag Game on my main account recently and asked my moots to reblog it with the prompt they received with a note saying that I might write a drabble based off it. One of my moots used S.coups and the prompt was too cute to pass up so here we are! I probably should have done it when I hit 1k to celebrate but... oh well.

Also I was thinking of doing an event to celebrate a milestone on here! Unfortunately we've long since past 500 so I was thinking of doing one for 750 followers instead.

The idea is simple: send / tag me in a photo, GIF or some kind of visual media of an idol + genre and I'll write a drabble / oneshot based off it!

We're still a bit off 750 though so it's just an idea I'm kicking around right now.

   A bite of the lip.

   A subtle wink.

   A touch that lingers too long.

   A peek of tongue before you roll the communion wafer into your mouth.

   The way your throat bobs as you gulp the wine down.

   The purr in your voice when you address him as 'Father'.

   You drop to your knees and bow your head to receive his blessing. It never fails to stir the crowd. A wave of disapproval courses through the small church as you await his touch. He, however, is used to this - from you at least.

   He's a gentle man, the kind of man that feeds stray kittens and volunteers not just because it's the priestly thing to do but because he wants to. His voice is soft, enticing, as is his hand that rests on your temple. There's warmth surging from his touch and you lean closer, allowing his large palm to cradle your forehead.

   It's not enough.

   Staring at his polished black shoes just isn't enough. You sneak a glance upward with slow precision to better observe his body. It's hidden behind his alb and chasuble, garments you find yourself hating more and more with every passing day. Your position on the floor offers a rare view and you linger on his bulging, toned arms as they peek through from under his holy vestments.

   He's beautiful. No matter the angle, he's beautiful.

   He's delicate and angelic and you've never wanted anyone more than you want Father Joshua.
