Joe Coffee was a band led by Sheer Terror vocalist Paul Bearer, during the years S.T. was inactive. They released two CD’s that are worth tracking down - When The Fabric Don’t Fit The Frame (2002) and Bright As The Stars We’re Under (2007).

Anthrax made two stops at the Beacon Theatre (Manhattan, NY) during their “Among The Living Tour.” This is a shot from their first visit on June 5, 1987. They would return six months later on December 8, with Celtic Frost & Exodus serving as the opening acts.

Twenty-five years ago today I had my hearing destroyed while seeing Motorhead for the first time. Sebastian Bach jumped on stage during their set(almost getting thrown off by an overzealous bouncer in the process) and added vocals to “Born To Raise Hell.” The show was originally scheduled for the Stone Pony Big Top, but was relocated to the club stage.
April 5, 1985 Nuclear Assault headlines a night of crossover insanity at The Showplace in Dover, NJ. Supporting the bill were Seizure, Mental Abuse & Mayhem (also known as NYC Mayhem).
